Great video.. i have changed my filter to the R2c dry filter and added the S&b air filtration system works awesome!. No more cleaning and oiling the stock type filter. The R2c can be blown out or washed and dried.. by far this setup has been the best upgrade on my machine. I have removed the secondary filter wich i used to have a k&n.. but.. it was never getting dirty.. plus S&B recommended removing it.... jus my 2 cents. Thanks
I alway use gasoline to clean my dirt bike air filters, then rise it out with soapy water followed by rinsing with the hose. After that I use a shop vacuum to suck off any remaining residue and water. I usually clean a bunch at 1 time, like 5-10 filters. Ill put each one in a paper bag to store and keep ready for when i need to use it again. For oil i use belray foam filter oil (its not spray on type) You get alot more for your money. I drizzle it on and then rub it in and spread it around evenly while wearing rubber gloves. Just a lite layer works best. I switch them out every 1 or 2 rides and save all the dirty ones in a plastic bag, then when i run out of clean filters, I wash all the dirty ones. I use a plastic 3 gal bucket, a 5 gal will work good too but I like the 3 gal so I don't need to put as much gas in (just a few inches from bottom). I use a small wire grate at the bottom of the bucket to let the dirt fall to the bottom as to not contaminate the next filter cleaned. When I'm done, I save the gas for cleaning more filters and or cleaning very dirty parts. After a few uses I'll use it as a great fire starter for our fire pit.

I’m sure you wouldn’t notice much difference in performance between the two filters. I used the same UNI filter on my 07 Trx450r for over 10 years I recently replaced it with another UNI because the original one got a slight hole in it from me twisting too hard when cleaning it. You can’t go wrong with either filter in my opinion.

English: I didnt really notice a large performance difference with the GYTR filter. The yxz was more responsive but that was primarily due to having a clean filter.

Insteresting there are so many filter cleaners out there that you can buy and good ol gasoline works just as good. Thanks for the info
