- My husband and I own our own masonry company, Gideon graduates in three weeks and we’re trying to get our house ready for his party. So my husband tore out the old steps, and poured new steps and even went further and poured me a whole new patio to enjoy watching my kids play in the yard. The whole masonry crew came over and helped my husband to pour the patio it absolutely turned out beautiful. Watch my front of my house transform into something new and wonderful.

My husband was a construction superintendent for years and he was always working with his men to show them that he could work side by side with them. Once a month he would have me make lunch for his crew just to show them how much he appreciated their hard work.

I was truly BLESSED when I met my husband. We have raised 3 of my grandchildren, and he loves each one as his own...we adopted the last 2.
He is my world now that we're "empty nesters."
We had so many things we wanted to do after we retired, but God had different plans for us because my wonderful husband has been diagnosed with Parkinson's and dementia. We've been married for 45 years, and my family is my whole world.
I enjoy watching the bells videos. BUT What is interesting to see is that the kids stayed around after they grew up, telling me that the bond is there and they're family.
I don't like when I see people say "Aw like a real family" because we see they are a family.
Mr. And Mrs. Bell did a great job nurturing and raising this family, it's awesome they've made a family for these kids.
As a family and a great Mom, you have it all over the family in New York.
Boy when Dad gets on a project he gets it done!!! It looks great and I know y’all will enjoy it.

My dad had a concrete business for over 40 years. Then he gave it to one of my brothers.... but i never watched them pour stairs.... that's really kewl!!! ❤ ❤ ❤
One day your going to sit on that porch with your retired husband watching your grandbabies running around and be able to say 'your Dad/uncle and Grandad built them stairs your running up. Them concrete steps will be around alot longer then some of us💖
I love watching the Bells 10. It would have been so cute to have each of the kids to sign their names into one of the steps. Josh is such a hard worker.

Looks awesome. I would plant boxwood bushes around the whole patio and along the front of garage. Put window boxes under windows on garage and have beautiful hanging plants on porch...

What a husband! our concrete including stairs are all chewed up for lack of a better word and our porch sinking forward and keep telling bf we need to fix it but nope. Gonna be up to me to figure it out lol

Seriously... You NEED a railing for those steps. Anyone with access issues will not be able to visit you easily.
I'm surprised you felt like need to be instructing Josh when his father there. Seriously, the PHYSICAL LABOR this requires, few, very few, a rare woman, maybe a young strong extremely healthy woman might be able to do. Definitely not possible for a non conditioned woman of much years will be able to exert the kind of energy necessary. Honestly have you seen roofers or road workers? They work 8 or 10 sometimes 12 hours straight FULL ON.
