I'm actually using and enjoying the seven seas1400 for dockstarting, was wondering if there would be a good reason switching to the jam1600? Could I keep the same rail to rail while increasing the glide?

Hello, the JAM 1600 will have a better low end and a better glide than your current SEVEN SEAS CARBON 1400.

Awesome! What mast is recommended for Dock start?

For dock start you can use a mast CARBON 75cm HM.

What would be the impact of a 85cm hm carbon mast? Already use it for winging :)

I m 70 kg and struggling to turn the jam 1900, my board might be too small, foil too big, mast too long 85, on your board do you have a bit of tail rocker? I could pump minutes with gravity 1600 to 2200. I realize it is different technic but advise always welcome. Cheers guys 🤙🏻 Hi5

Hello, what board are you using ? For dock start, 85cm is a bit too long, we usually recommend 75 or even 80cm mast. 1900 might be a bit too much area for your size, have a try with a 1600 JAM and let us know. 🙂

I´m a wing foil fanatic and I live in a spot that the average wind is 8 to 10 knts , but there is many many days with these conditions. I weitght 100 kg, would you recommend to use the JAM 1900 in order to be able to enjoy wing foiling? We use wings of 7m2 and 7,5m2. Thank you in advance

The JAM 1600cm² will be better for wing foiling, you will have better glide, less span that JAM 1900 cm².

It'll depend of your board, what are you using ? in your case the ROCKET SUP DW will be the right board for a low-end.

I'm currently riding the Phantom 1780 at 85kg and am looking for a foil for light winds under 10 ktn for the summer. is the jam 1600 better for this or the eagle in 1290? I think the jam will be easier to start?

Hello, If you have a SUP DW board, the 1290 or the 1190 would be better as it will give you more top end and manoeuvrability. If you have a more regular board, the 1600 will be interesting for you as it will have a better low end.
      Have a nice day

Glide and low end apart, will a Jam 1600 be faster or slower than a Seven Seas 1400 in wingfoiling?

On the swell the JAM 1600cm², will be better than the SEVEN SEAS 1400 cm².

The 1600 cm² is ideal to wing foil or SUP foil in marginal conditions and light winds, or for riders who already know how to dock start. It is also the perfect foil to learn how to SUP downwind. The JAM 1600cm² will be available in January 2024.
