My friend had a friend that wrestled a few times and knew the score many years ago. He said if Lawler and Dundee ever fought for real that Dundee would have killed him. I figure the same with HTM and Lawler.
Lawler fining his kid for being 5 minutes late is the best thing he could do as a father. He basically said: As my kid, you’ll be held to a higher standard. Good job Lawler.
Why a higher standard? Why not place him on the same standard as the rest of his workers. Lawler seemed like an ass to his kid, hence why things turned out the way they did. I like Lawler but even I acknowledge he's done and said questionable shit.
Absolutely under normal circumstances, but would you go and squeal every time someone was late to work? It was nothing to do with him unless his boss (the booker) clocks it. If he was an hour late on the other hand and messed the show up then it's a different matter.
