This is me being honest .. I have been struggling with my weight and have been diagnosed as borderline Diabetic. So I have just started taking MOUNJARO to help with the food noises I suffer with. MOUNJARO helps suppress the appetite but you still have to make healthy choices and educate your self for MOUNJARO to work and your life after MOUNJARO
Hi Maria, I lost 120lb or 9st on Ozempic while doing a clinical trail for the NHS to reduce risk of heart attacks. So the reason I agreed to do the trial was not to loose weight but it was an amazing side effect years before the big media celebrity stuff now found everywhere was even known. I lost 7 stone in year one and then another 2 stone over the second and third year BUT like you I needed to do a healthy eating plan alongside. I did and still do calorie counting and avoid breakfast by intermittent fasting as it’s proven to be very good for the general health and it’s my health that drives me on . I’ve had two heart attacks before I was 46 yrs old. I’ve been off Ozempic for two years and have maintained my weight loss by keeping to the intermittent fasting and calorie counting. Everyone told me everyone puts the weight back on and more after stopping but I’m living proof if you keep to the good eating habits I learned ie small meals , avoiding white bread and pasta. I have my treats chocolate, cake and am looking forward to the Baileys at Christmas. So good luck Maria and fingers crossed you don’t get the nausea and constipation that is very common. Don’t feel guilty , you are not cheating you are doing a method to help you loose weight which in turn helps you to avoid diabetes and reduce your risk of heart disease .
I'm like you, I haven't told a soul except for sharing with people online and I am always glad to find new people having similar experiences to me. Well done for making the decision and for telling your followers but you are being true to yourself and that's great. I am week 8 and down 22lbs and am enjoying trying on clothes I couldn't get into before, it's like having a new wardrobe. I got constipated in week 5-6 and that was too much whey protein and lean chicken breast but thankfully I am back on track. My biggest side effect is fatigue I feel ok in the day but I am very tired all the time and could sleep for 9 hours every night. I am glad you feel so energised. Keep it up and good luck to you ❤
This is not a criticism but an observation, as far as i know when and if you stop taking the Mounjaro the effects stop as well and you have admitted you have a problem with food,so really you need to deal with the basic problem and your relationship with food. Also is it fair still going to slimmi g world and losing lots of weight and the other people are not because they are not being helped along
I appreciate your view and its the view of others too. I loved going to SW i never stayed to class only got weighed and followed the plan myself at home. Its a shame as it looks like i shouldn't go any more now.
You must do what's right for you Maria. We re all different.Slimming World is good and encourages healthy eating and food balance. If you enjoy it and it helps you stay on track you should keep going.Youve been very honest and I appreciate that.Hope you reach your goal xx@@Maria_crocker
I totally understand what you are saying with the food noise as I have that as well. I am taking ozempic and it really has helped me so much. I also haven’t had many side effects either. My food choices have been so much better since beginning the injections. I know people near me (in Canada) go to weight watchers as well as getting the injection and no one accuses them of cheating! It’s great to get other ideas on what to eat and exercise. You need to do what is best for you. Congratulations on the weight loss so far and good luck with getting healthier. Please keep up with sharing the recipes as I don’t have slimming world this side of the pond and I like to get fresh ideas. 😊
Thank you for your honesty, I found this podcast so interesting. I understand and have a similar problem with my weight. I look forward to hearing about your progress.
Well done, Maria for being so open and honest about your weight loss drug. I completely understand why you have made this decision. I also follow Caroline Mrs M who told us a few weeks ago she was also on Mounjaro. I can see how well and positive you are feeling about your weight loss. Thank you and good luck.
Hi Maria, I've been reading some of the comments, i do not agree with a lot of them, you are being honest! Im in my 70s, i have battled with my weight all my married life, Weight Watchers, Rosemary Connelly, Slimming World, you name it, ive done it and loss weight every time, only to gain it again. I have finally found something that works for me, I do not count callories, but eat a lot more healthier, I follow Micheal Moselys advice, Tim Spector and the Glucose Godess, Jessie Inchauspe, all have great advice and i have never felt as healthy as i do now! I sleep better, i have more energy, and have lost 20 pounds since August. Good luck Maria. I so enjoy your videos.
Hi Maria I wondered if that was what you were doing. I’ve been on Mounjaro since June and I’m so happy it’s amazing ! I’ve lost 4 stone so far and have another 2 stone at least to lose. It completely takes away the food noise. I’m still going to SW also . Good luck it’s a complete game changer.
Don’t feel you should be going to slimming world too it’s unfair and sneaky. People following the slimming world plan who have a modest and steady loss must wonder how you are getting such big weight losses. You should be honest with your consultant and group.
Slimming world encourage members who are taking weight loss medication, to go to class and learn how to follow a healthy balanced diet. They advise you to share this information and be honest so i have.
Hi Maria a very open and honest video, hope you continue to get great results on whatever route you choose on your journey it’s totally your choice and you must do what’s right for you, thanks for sharing 👍🏻😛
Good luck on your Journey... I'm on wk14 lost 2st 8lb so far and koving it. It's been life changing for me. I still have 5stone to lose but Im very optomistic that by Summer I will be at target. Xxx
Bless you Maria ! You are such a sweetie ( lovable person). I love your honesty. I sympathise with your weight loss struggles and I have my own. Carrying too much weight is so depressing and I know what you mean about feeling out of control. I wish you every success .❤
I wish your all the luck on your journey. My wife had a gastric band which did work for 11 years but now obviously doesn;t and she is looking seriously at taking this really to keep off what she lost and put back on, was turned down by NICE as she isn't large enough and her GP wont put her on it even though she is a Diabetic. Thank you for telling where you get yours from, most others won't and the price and we will now look into this ourselves probably starting in the New Year, my wife loves your channel
Hi Maria ,i think your amazing & honest being upfront about your journey & what steps your taking to lose the weight .Your doing so well & looking good .Thank you so much for being inspiring .🙂🤗💖
Maria, youre always a kind caring lady giving as many tips as you can to us on everything. You did the right thing trying out this drug first to see how you got on. All the best xx
Maria thank you for your honesty. It sounds like I have similar struggles to you also concerned about my blood sugar levels but I’m trying to tackle it by eating low carb, but my journey is so slow. I will be watching your progress with great interest, it took guts to be honest as it’s a private decision so once again thanks for sharing x ps and good luck
You need to go on the Blood Sugar Diet that Michael Mosley designed for people who are borderline, pre diabetic or diabetic. It works with no drugs, but fasting until lunchtime from previous evening meal at 7pm and healthy eating with plenty of lean protein two meals aday. I lost 4 stone from beginning of March to Sept.
I take mounjaro for the same reasons. I haven’t lost a great deal of weight but enough to drop my cholesterol 3 points and I am no longer pre diabetic. So good luck to you. We all have the right to spend our money on what we chose. I know I’m lucky I can afford it and I’m aware others aren’t so fortunate. I’ve tried all the diets going with very little success as my brain was always telling me “You’re on a diet so you can’t eat that” and it became a mental problem and my self esteem was rock bottom. I get mine from our local pharmacy under the direction of the trained pharmacist who keeps records and keeps my doctor up to date. ❤
I wanted to respond - firstly “well done” you for your honesty - I have had weight issues all my adult life, and have tried every possible diet plan - I am older than you and 35 years ago I joined slimming world for the first time weighing in at approximately 16 stone and managed to get down to a target weight of 10 stone - fast forward to today - I still fight with my weight every day and I’m currently 7 lbs heavier than I was all those years ago so I suppose I’ve managed to do ok - I just wanted to say I too want to turn to food and seem to not be happy until I finished all of whatever I’m eating that I shouldn’t be so you are not alone. My only concern for you is that what happens when you decide to stop taking the medication at some point. Please take care and continue following the slimming world plan so that you can try to discipline yourself to the correct way of eating (easier said than done I know) I’ll always have a weight issue and so you are not alone in this journey- I’m very interested to see how it turns out for you .
Thank you and I agree the slimming plan works really well. I am going to continue eating Slimming world friendly meals. Hopefully I can educate myself to eat properly for when I stop the injections so I can keep to eating healthy and controlled x
No judgement you do you but do you feel guilty going to SW and possibly getting slimmer of the week with others just sticking solely to SW? I ask because I do calorie counting and kept going for a while and kept getting slimmer of the week and asking what I’d eaten? So in the end I just left as I was just paying to be weighed and I could do that at home
I don't stay to class and i always be honest with everyone. I wont be able to afford to stay on this for ever. I like their eating plan and even though i am getting the food cravings suppressed i need to educate my self into keeping on plan for after.
Morning Maria, thank you for sharing the information. It has probably been bothering you that you have not made the disclosure with you filming videos about your eating plan journey. You did not need to feel that. The enthusiasm for trying on clothes is obvious, and I know myself that if I get into a garment that previously was tight, I feel uplifted and thrilled (for me at the moment that feeling doesn’t happen very much!) so I can imagine how you are feeling. Keep on track, and I am looking forward to following your weight loss journey.
Morning Maria thank you for today’s video and “ coming out “ on mounjaro 😂. I have been taking Ozempic and finally Mounjaro on and off for about 18months. and have lost a total of 4st 2lb as of today. I am no longer pre diabetic which is huge plus for me and my blood pressure is normal. All that and another couple of stone to go. Because of disability my loss was slow and also although small my choices were poor. Like you I get food notices so I totally understand where you’re coming from. It’s sad that the nhs won’t roll it out quicker as I’ve already saved them money on the drugs that I won’t need, but although I’m on the waiting list they only prescribe to 9 new cases a month hear in Leeds . By the time my time comes around I won’t qualify !!! You will do amazing now , you look amazing and you’re feeling so much better and most important of all , you’ve got your head in gear. All the very best my friend and thank you for sharing . I follow Nanna M and got into intermittent fasting through her. So between that and your lovely recipes I’m now on a roll. God bless and thank you xx❤
Some people on here are being very judgemental and unkind imo. Maria there is no reason why you cannot attend Slimming World to help you with your healthy eating plan. I am also onMounjaro and it is changing my life and my health. I have lost 50lbs so far thanks to my decreased appetite, increased exercise and healthy diet. I find I afford it because I am no longer buying all the unhealthy foods or having takeaways. Don’t let peoples attitudes put you off. Continue putting your health and wellbeing first and I for one will not be unsubscribing 😊
I wholeheartedly agree with this! I am seriously considering trying Mounjaro after 30 plus years of trying to loose weight. If Slimming World helps keep going! It’s your journey to health and weight loss no one else’s! It’s not a competition! I look forward to following your journey Maria, good luck x
Morning Maria…I completely understand where you’re coming from, those food noises I’ve heard them all my life. I wish you the best of luck ..I’ve looked into it myself but the cut off age is 75 I’m 77 in January so the decision was made for me, but I hope for yourself and other people who are taking this that they eventually have found something to help them beat their overweight problem. You look very happy Maria, let us follow your journey with you. Xx
You must do what suits you Maria and I wish you every success with your weightloss and hopefully better health. However, I have been watching your vlogs on your slimming world journey and feel as if you have deceived your subscribers. You have pretended to have lost good amounts of weight on Slimming World whilst self injecting the weight loss drug. It seems unfair to go to your Slimming World club to weigh, when your weight loss is mainly attributed to another method of weight loss.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I have been honest saying that i have eaten less and what sort of things i have been eating the last two weeks. Mounjaro suppresses appetite but you still have to eat less yourself. I am very sorry if you feel that way, It wasn't my intention i can assure you.
oh no! i thought you were doing SW which works perfectly if you follow it properly, im sorry Maria i dont agree with Mounjara at all, didnt a lady die because of this a few weeks ago?
All diets work if you follow them properly, it’s just people don’t stick to it. SW didn’t work for me where as I turned to calorie counting and lost 5st Lots of people die from side effects from various drugs. So as long as you do your research the decision is up to the individual
@@MrPoppycat7 I’m sure Maria has done her research so knows what she’s doing and as sad as it is the lady died but was it actually the Mounjara that killed her or did she have other health issues? At the end of the day it’s up to Maria what she does
You do what’s best for you. But I don’t think you should be wasting your time going to SW paying to just get weighed. I was doing Wegovy last year lost over 2 stone, stopped due to needing my gallbladder removed. Had to do the fatty liver diet prior to surgery to try and shrink my liver, now that is a tough diet! None of it is a miracle cure to being overweight, but the weight loss injections certainly help.
Hi Maria, good for you for doing what you feel is right. I have a family member who's on it too and has lost so much weight and looks terrific and she feels so happy and confident now.
Hi Maria. It’s me again after coming back to read your comments. I think it says a lot about your integrity that you felt you needed to explain on here that for a couple of weeks you’ve been combining the injection with the Slimming World class because you like that way of eating but felt you needed extra help with food noises etc. Many people would not have been so honest and would have accepted awards like slimmer of the week etc but that is obviously not in your nature. I’m also sure that you’ve weighed up the pros and cons of using Mounjaro against weight related health conditions and made your choice which is rightly yours to make. I wish you well on your journey and hope you continue to let us know how it’s going. xx
Hi, thank you for sharing your journey with us , it has helped me tremendously as you have disclosed who you purchase it from . After Christmas I too will be applying to purchase it. From all the comments it seems more people have the same food noise and this seems to help .Thank you again ❤
Mrs M (Caroline) is also on it and recording her journey. Thank you both so much for letting us know exactly how it works. Good luck be brave as it takes courage but we are here for you ❤
maria, thanks for sharing very helpful for people who have thought about it. what is the top you are wearing (yellow)? i love it thanks again lizzie g.
Maria I just want to say please ignore all the judgy comments here. It must have been a hard decision to disclose this and people are now drilling you into the ground about it. Must be a lot of fun on planet perfect where they all live! 😅 Anyway I am planning to start mounjaro after Christmas but won't be telling anyone as people will always judge. You should be proud that you are doing something positive for your health. Well done!
Hi Maria, this is great if it improves your health. I can relate to your “food noise” issues completely and will watch with interest to see how you progress. xx
I would say it’s only cheating if you’re treating weight loss with Slimming World as a competition and accepting slimmer of the week and month awards. If you are totally honest as in this case then I can’t see how you can be looked on as cheating by other adults.
Deciding to lose weight - whether that’s with medication, surgery, with a slimming club or any other method - takes courage, determination and commitment, and we welcome anyone who’s struggling with their weight and needs the help, expertise and motivation to make lasting changes to their lifestyle. “We encourage members who are taking weight loss medications to share that information with their fellow members and the Consultant who runs their group, so they can help them follow some additional guidelines to ensure a healthy balanced diet, and that they’re preserving their lean muscle - a risk with rapid weight loss through taking GLP-1 drugs. “It is very easy to believe that this new generation of drugs are the holy grail and that they’ll see rates of obesity reducing. However, it’s important to remember that they’re a short-term medical intervention with many unpleasant potential side-effects. To help people who are taking medication to maintain their weight loss long term, the support to make sustainable healthy changes to what they eat and drink and to become more active is essential. That’s something we’ve been doing for 55 years and will continue to do.”
Holier than thou comments on here Good luck to you Maria. Like you my mouth wants to just keep munching. Nothing to do with hunger. Agree with everything you say. It's just a medicine that you need so don't let anyone make you feel bad
Can you please answer a question for me like you I’m early in this journey. I had my first injection last week with my diabetic nurse and tomorrow Wednesday I have to do my second injection but I’m still bruised from the first injection which is still at the yellow stage. Do you bruise after you have injected, any help you could give me will help. Many people say they don’t feel the needle going in unfortunately I’m not one of those so I’m not looking forward to the next one. Thank you and good luck.
Hi Maria I will be interested in your weight loss journey. I am doing SW and lost 8 1/2 lbs in 4 weeks. Like you I have been told I am pre diabetic and have that food noise all the time. I totally understand your decision.
Hi Maria. I had thought you seemed to be more motivated with your diet and now realise that that’s because the food noise has reduced so much due to your injections. I’m glad that you have felt that you can share your experience with us and hope that it goes well for you. Good luck. xx
Maria there are mixed comments on here. you do what is right for you and makes you feel good about yourself. If mounjaro helps then you go girl and ignore the negative nellieson here. You be true to yourself and in dong so, chose not to 'own' negative or critical comments. You do not need to explain yourself to anyone. Neither do you need to give up going to SW if you enjoy it. Good luck with your journey, I watch with interest. xxx
Thank you, Slimming world are happy for me to continue. They support people on medication for weight loss to ensure a healthy diet is maintained. They just ask you to let them know and that is what i have done. Thank you for your support and kindness. x
You're doing a fantastic job! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Mmm it's not just about weight loss though. Yes you will achieve weight loss but alongside this you will lose muscle mass. The only way to counteract this is by strength training (a lot)!!!
Can you tell I’m commenting as I’m watching lol. I had no side effects apart from constipation and that’s been quite bad. I’m on 7.5mg now and that’s been the best dose for me.
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉❤. That's absolutely wonderful and you've done so well. It's like the lady said before whose lost so much on the clinical trial you need to eat healthy and eat less. Like most of us older women who are slimmer we only eat what we need and keep active. You look so much younger already ❤️xxx,
Hi Maria, I’m not sure about taking these drugs , I’ve read different problems , so I wouldn’t touch them , always sceptical about these new drugs . But obviously that’s your choice . Hope it works for you , but I just think it’s better to go down the slow way & stick to slimming world . 😘
Mounjaro is not a miracle drug it just helps .You still have to control what you eat. Menopausal women like we are find it very difficult to loose weight.I’m on it my second week and I will be following you on your journey .So please don’t judge Maria people
Hi Maria good luck with your slimming journey . Looseing weight quickly can cause sag after doctors advice why don’t you do some toning exercise or tai chi it’s for mind and body . Or join a gym only suggestions but best wishes from Spain 🇪🇸
Good luck on your weight loss journey. It seems a waste of money continuing going to Slimming World classes if you don’t stay for the talk as that is where you get motivation to lose weight amongst like minded people. effectively you’re paying only to be weighed, you’ve get all the information you need in the books and the knowledge you’ve already got use the money you save to buy yourself a good set of scales.
Morning Maria. Well done on an honest video. You are right to do what is best for you and i wish you well on your journey and look forward to updates. I know what you mean about the noises in your head. Just how I am. Struggled on and off most of my life, losing and gaining. Unfortunately I can't afford the layout every month as I am retired. Exciting times ahead for you xx
Thank you so much Muriel, it is very expensive i know and i will have to see how long i can afford to keep it up. I need to look at other ways of replenishing the money !
Hi Maria, thank you for being honest with Mounjaro drug, I am like your girls I couldn’t inject myself with any sort of drug. I did SW for a couple of years but I must admit I can control myself if I desperately want to and lost 50 pounds and got to goal it was an amazing feeling and I was in my middle seventies. I am now 89 and obviously over the years have put some of the weight back on but as I don’t eat very much at all I am happy with my body. I am not pre diebetic but my daughter is so might mention it to her.❤️❤️
Hi Maria,im gluten intolerant so my foods are very limited,I just eat meat, veg, fish, salad and anything from the free from range in Sainsbury's,ive lost quite alot of weight not eating rubbish food ,but its a tough diet, thanks for your videox
Hi lovely Maria , thank you for being so honest , i know people are so judgmental about everything these days , but you do you as the saying goes , as long as your healthy and happy thats all good , i'm glad your still doing your slimming world as well cause i do like seeing your recipe ideas , and l like the fact that you explained that you still need to eat a heathy diet , as some people think you can carry on eating what you like....its about healthy choice , and you have made yours , so well done , keep up the good work , take good care , have a lovely week xxx🥰🥰🥰
Oh my god , I was going to suggest Mournjaro but that would be rude 😂. I gave up SW as it was so much money with both . It's so much nicer not to follow a plan and be free of diet clubs . It's saving my life , I have so much more energy, the best thing I have ever done . Good luck on your journey, I'm on week 6 and still on 2.5 as still working, I love feeling relaxed around food & I enjoy food & fancy salad and vegetables over rubbish food . ❤
Hi Maria, it is your choice, your body, you are a clever woman you know what you are doing Good luck on your journey. Can i ask the price off it Maria for a dear friend 😘❤️
Yes you can, I paid £154. It’s worth shopping around because the price differs a lot. I also had a discount code I used. I know some people have found it for £130 x
Bless you for your honesty and transparency. It's soul destroying when you're eating healthily and still not losing the amount of weight to make it feel worthwhile. Especially when your general health is suffering. You must do what feels right for you, your body, health and well-being. Good luck Maria!! Xx❤
Morning Maria, thank you for being honest about your weight it must be hard when you have food issues I wish you well it is hard to get weight off good luck 😊❤️❤️
you are be truthful try out meditation it will help you to focus on the brain it self tell yourself to say not to eat it will be on you tube type meditation on Google search it will come up thinking of you doing great so far didn't give up now love you Maria 😊 and your family they are so support of you love corrinne friend butterfly 🦋 ❤ 💕 💖
Thank you for being so honest and up front and I wish you all the best.I am thinking about it but know there is a long wait on the NHS but can't afford to pay for it.I am a terrible snacker especially for sweet snacks .Have you watched Lady Mawa (Marcea)she is on Mounjaro and is sharing her journey.Take care Maria .xx.😢
Thank you for being honest, if it works for you and your health is better then good for you. Sadly SW doesn't work for me and it didn't totally work for you either. Let us know how you go 😊
The NHS do a tablet...my neighbour has it, he's lost weight, but it makes you pass urine a bit more..trouble is when you go on holiday you will put on the weight you've lost...so you have to change you're lifestyle. I did it by being good all week, then have a treat at the weekend, i did that for 35years and stayed at a size 12, unfortunately my husband died two years ago after looking after him on my own for four years, feeding washing, dressing, haircutting, etc., and so I've done nothing since he died and am now a size 16 although people say i don't look it, as im hourglass, but I'm uncomfortable and also just 70years, so it's taking time to get back into a routine and I'm now also pre-diabetic...once that comes to fruition than life would become very hard.l
Maria , if youre happy thats great for you. I wouldnt use it personally in case of long term side effects or becoming dependant on it. I was wondering how you were managing on so little as such during the day time. You are looking very healthy .. ❤❤
Everything you say it’s like me talking especially the part about the voice in your head where it tells you to finish the pkt biscuits I will look into Mounjaro good luck Maria
Morning Maria, well done for the weight loss you do what ever you think comfortable for you, looking forward seeing how it goes, mrs m Caroline doing it also, ❤
Hi thank you sharing this video that like me looking for food and I need a snack and I am bored line diebect and need to lose weight I am going to start eating healthy and I am still enjoying watching you slimming food thank you xxx
Your body Maria. I am type 2 diabetic and Inject insulin twice a day. I would like to try this injection but would only do it through my doctor. I have never been offered or heard of anyone with diabetes taking this through the NHS. I may enquire about it but it would have to be under my doctors control. Whats wrong with taking the injection and still eating the diet you were following. I do not think you would deliberately deceive people in that way at all. You are trying to do what’s best for you and that is all that matters. Xx
Morning Maria thank you for being honest and I wish you all the very best in your new journey. I must admit I will miss your plus size hauls 😂😂 I would love to take it but sadly my funds are not available so I will just carry on with the daily struggles of fighting the bulge battle 😂😂. Good luck lovely Maria ❤
Thank you for sharing and your honesty. Good luck on your journey. I can relate to the noise in your head, I too struggle with binge eating and snacking. I’ve started a fresh again this morning to try and eat healthier and to loose some weight for Christmas. I don’t think i will try the drug it’s too expensive for me…each y9 their own. Congratulations for doing so well with your weight loss. I too follow Mrs M. Continued success. X
Aww sorry Maria , i don't agree with a quick fix no injections , but should you really be going to SW , i will continue to watch your other hauls , but not the weght loss journey sorry . if it helps you its your body
You do you Maria. I take weightloss injections also. Not sure why people are against it. Whatever works 👌🏼 x
I’ve had two heart attacks before I was 46 yrs old. I’ve been off Ozempic for two years and have maintained my weight loss by keeping to the intermittent fasting and calorie counting.
Thank you so much x
Sorry Maria, i feel let down. I was with you all the way with SW. Not sure how safe these are. Your journey but definitely not mine xx😘
Keep it up and good luck to you ❤
Lovely to meet you and thanks for sharing and well
Done that’s an amazing weight loss x
@ Thank you. I am pretty sure you will be down a full clothes size for Christmas like you hope. Looking forward to more updates.

I appreciate your view and its the view of others too. I loved going to SW i never stayed to class only got weighed and followed the plan myself at home. Its a shame as it looks like i shouldn't go any more now.

Thank you x
Well done, Maria for being so open and honest about your weight loss drug. I completely understand why you have made this decision. I also follow Caroline Mrs M who told us a few weeks ago she was also on Mounjaro. I can see how well and positive you are feeling about your weight loss. Thank you and good luck.
thanks for the support x
Well done on your weight loss and I really appreciate the kind words x
Thank you for your honesty I’m going to be starting it in the new year hopefully so will be so interested in your progress Well done so far 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you x
Hi Maria I wondered if that was what you were doing. I’ve been on Mounjaro since June and I’m so happy it’s amazing ! I’ve lost 4 stone so far and have another 2 stone at least to lose. It completely takes away the food noise. I’m still going to SW also . Good luck it’s a complete game changer.
Thanks Pamela, well done x
Don’t feel you should be going to slimming world too it’s unfair and sneaky. People following the slimming world plan who have a modest and steady loss must wonder how you are getting such big weight losses. You should be honest with your consultant and group.
Maria just tried this drug and is telling us about it now soon after trying . We can choose to listen or not.
Thank you so much Linda ❤️
Good luck on your Journey... I'm on wk14 lost 2st 8lb so far and koving it. It's been life changing for me. I still have 5stone to lose but Im very optomistic that by Summer I will be at target. Xxx
That’s excellent news, well done xxx
@janicepym5158 she's just been upfront about it & told us. Just needs a little extra help to stop the cravings
@@janicepym5158 they have been approved I think for nhs
Maria, youre always a kind caring lady giving as many tips as you can to us on everything. You did the right thing trying out this drug first to see how you got on. All the best xx
Thanks Pauline x
Hi Maria, thank you so much for your honesty, you seem to have done your research and are being very sensible going forward. Best of luck x
Thank you so much ❤️
You need to go on the Blood Sugar Diet that Michael Mosley designed for people who are borderline, pre diabetic or diabetic. It works with no drugs, but fasting until lunchtime from previous evening meal at 7pm and healthy eating with plenty of lean protein two meals aday. I lost 4 stone from beginning of March to Sept.
Wow Linda that is amazing... WELL DONE X
Thanks for sharing your experience x
Thank you Hazel for your kind words x
Well done, and thanks for sharing x
Some people on here are being very judgemental and unkind imo. Maria there is no reason why you cannot attend Slimming World to help you with your healthy eating plan. I am also onMounjaro and it is changing my life and my health.
I have lost 50lbs so far thanks to
my decreased appetite, increased exercise and healthy diet.
Xx
Hi Rita, i didn't realize there was a cut off age. This must be for a reason.. Take care x
SW didn’t work for me where as I turned to calorie counting and lost 5st
Lots of people die from side effects from various drugs. So as long as you do your research the decision is up to the individual
@@jacqui9026 i know that! but to knowingly put yourself in danger just to lose weight is so wrong in my opinion and death is too big a side effect!
@@MrPoppycat7 I’m sure Maria has done her research so knows what she’s doing and as sad as it is the lady died but was it actually the Mounjara that killed her or did she have other health issues? At the end of the day it’s up to Maria what she does
Yes, an NHS nurse died taking this medication. Plus when you stop taking the weight goes back on , people need to move more eat less
Slimming world & mountjaro???
Thank you for your honest review. I am on Mounjaro since today. I like to follow your journey.❤
Please feel free to ask me any questions. Good luck x
Started MJ myself yesterday. Just subscribed to your channel and looking forward to loosing along with you x
I hope it goes well for you, it’s nice to do it together x
You do what’s best for you. But I don’t think you should be wasting your time going to SW paying to just get weighed. I was doing Wegovy last year lost over 2 stone, stopped due to needing my gallbladder removed. Had to do the fatty liver diet prior to surgery to try and shrink my liver, now that is a tough diet! None of it is a miracle cure to being overweight, but the weight loss injections certainly help.
Hi Maria, good for you for doing what you feel is right. I have a family member who's on it too and has lost so much weight and looks terrific and she feels so happy and confident now.
Thank you so much for sharing x
I wish you well on your journey and hope you continue to let us know how it’s going. xx
Thank you Jean x
Hi, thank you for sharing your journey with us , it has helped me tremendously as you have disclosed who you purchase it from . After Christmas I too will be applying to purchase it.
From all the comments it seems more people have the same food noise and this seems to help .Thank you again ❤
You are so welcome!
Mrs M (Caroline) is also on it and recording her journey. Thank you both so much for letting us know exactly how it works. Good luck be brave as it takes courage but we are here for you ❤
Thank you so much ❤️
maria, thanks for sharing very helpful for people who have thought about it. what is the top you are wearing (yellow)? i love it
thanks again lizzie g.
The top is cream and from M & S a couple of months ago x
Good luck Maria on your weight loss journey, it obviously suits you , I have noticed you seem to have more energy and more upbeat also .❤
Thanks so much Margaret x
Maria I just want to say please ignore all the judgy comments here. It must have been a hard decision to disclose this and people are now drilling you into the ground about it. Must be a lot of fun on planet perfect where they all live! 😅 Anyway I am planning to start mounjaro after Christmas but won't be telling anyone as people will always judge. You should be proud that you are doing something positive for your health. Well done!
Thanks Kathy I really appreciate it xx

Hi Maria, this is great if it improves your health. I can relate to your “food noise” issues completely and will watch with interest to see how you progress. xx
thanks Sue x
Sorry I don't understand how you can continue to go to slimming world is that not cheeting
I would say it’s only cheating if you’re treating weight loss with Slimming World as a competition and accepting slimmer of the week and month awards. If you are totally honest as in this case then I can’t see how you can be looked on as cheating by other adults.
Thanks Jean.. X
Holier than thou comments on here
Good luck to you Maria.
No I don’t feel anything and no bruises. Good luckx
Hi Maria, hope you don’t mind me asking, where did you get your candles on the table from please ? 😊
The candles are from Matalan £5 each, battery operated. They are so realistic x
@ Thankyou 😊
Hi Maria I will be interested in your weight loss journey. I am doing SW and lost 8 1/2 lbs in 4 weeks. Like you I have been told I am pre diabetic and have that food noise all the time. I totally understand your decision.
Wow that’s amazing well done x
Good luck Maria, thanks for your honesty xx
Thank you x
Hi Maria. I had thought you seemed to be more motivated with your diet and now realise that that’s because the food noise has reduced so much due to your injections. I’m glad that you have felt that you can share your experience with us and hope that it goes well for you. Good luck. xx
Thank you Jean x
Thank you for your support and kindness. x

Hi Maria, I’m not sure about taking these drugs , I’ve read different problems , so I wouldn’t touch them , always sceptical about these new drugs . But obviously that’s your choice . Hope it works for you , but I just think it’s better to go down the slow way & stick to slimming world . 😘
Thank you x
Mounjaro is not a miracle drug it just helps .You still have to control what you eat. Menopausal women like we are find it very difficult to loose weight.I’m on it my second week and I will be following you on your journey .So please don’t judge Maria people
Thank you Julie. I wish you well.As you say your still responsible for what you eat and how much. Good luck on your journey x
Hi Maria, Could you tell me why you went for `Mounjaro' rather than 'WeGovy'?
No particular reason. It was the one that I have seen a lot of good reviews on. I don’t know if there is a difference between them.
Hi Maria good luck with your slimming journey . Looseing weight quickly can cause sag after doctors advice why don’t you do some toning exercise or tai chi it’s for mind and body . Or join a gym only suggestions but best wishes from Spain 🇪🇸
Thanks for the tip
Good luck on your weight loss journey. It seems a waste of money continuing going to Slimming World classes if you don’t stay for the talk as that is where you get motivation to lose weight amongst like minded people.
effectively you’re paying only to be weighed, you’ve get all the information you need in the books and the knowledge you’ve already got use the money you save to buy yourself a good set of scales.
Morning Maria. Well done on an honest video. You are right to do what is best for you and i wish you well on your journey and look forward to updates.

Thanks Mandy, really appreciate your lovely words x
Oh my god , I was going to suggest Mournjaro but that would be rude 😂. I gave up SW as it was so much money with both . It's so much nicer not to follow a plan and be free of diet clubs . It's saving my life , I have so much more energy, the best thing I have ever done . Good luck on your journey, I'm on week 6 and still on 2.5 as still working, I love feeling relaxed around food & I enjoy food & fancy salad and vegetables over rubbish food . ❤

Maria I forgot to ask is the price 153.00 for a pack of 4 (month supply) of pens or is it for just one injection?
It is per pen (4 weeks injections)

Xx
Thank you Helen I really appreciate your support x
