    So, just so I hopefully pass my test tomorrow, if the index (n) is even and the radicand exponent (m) is also even but ends up coming out in the end as an odd exponent, then you have to put absolute values around it? Also thank you so much. I don’t know why I’ve been struggling so hard to wrap my head around this part of the unit

    What an obnoxious and pedantic thing to exist. Next time God makes a new universe I'm going to see to it that he makes its physics internally consistent without resorting to gimmicks like this.
