I for one would rather see my taxes go to help people who would be able to get back on there feet again and become contributors once again instead of funding endless money sucking wars. Yes, it's a choice to live like this, but after a while, there is no way out without external help.

When people allow schools to provide all the education of children we have this. Teach your children morals at home and have them learn to read write and do math at school. No one wants to make time for that though.
