You all remind me of my Mom, sister, and me years ago. The three of us loved shopping together. Sometimes we would be gone so long, we would eat three meals out in a day...lol. I lost my Mom three years ago at the age of 95. Up until the last 10 years of her life, we continued our outings. You all are making memories!!! Never take your time together for granted. These are special times and you will look back someday and remember this. I miss my Mom everyday!!! God bless!!!
If Laura‘s Mom did not run Andrew’s Seed company, she would be so great as an antique dealer or owner. She would be able to convince every single customer why they should have an item! 😂
Longaberger is made in Ohio, dated and signed by the artisan. The baskets have been collectibles for over 40 years. The hostess basket with the inserts is for serving - I use mine for veggies, fruit, dip, condiments. The big one is the laundry basket and they’re expensive.
It was a family company. We used to love to make trips to their home in Dresden Ohio, and tour the factory and all the little shops etc in town. Their headquarters later was in a basket shaped office building.
I experienced a delightful little flutter of joy when I saw the title for todays video. It is always so lovely to come along with you, your Mom and Monica on these shopping days. The best part is witnessing the love and happiness you all share. Thank you for sharing such treasured moments.
I really hope there are more moms and sisters out there like this in real life. I may not have this kind of relationship with mine, but I appreciate being able to share in their joy with them. Have a great day everyone!
I love that you and your mom surprise each other with thoughtful gifts. That was a wonderful day spent with you three ladies thank you for taking us along with you. The store they turned you away has no idea the amount of advertising they could’ve gotten for free, their loss.
I love your shopping videos, Laura! Your chemistry with your mom and sister is so much fun to watch. And as a booth vendor and online seller, I love seeing what you buy and what captures your imagination. So much fun!
Loved your moms comment, “ and they’re super friendly!” 😉😉😉😉 I mean, why would someone not want you to film? The exposure they would get from having you in their store would be priceless!
I live about 5 minutes away from that store and stopped shopping there years ago, it just didn't feel welcoming. I will absolutely drive 50 minutes to go to the Red Barn in Fruitland!
I am so happy you regularly include these shopping excursions with your Mom and sister! I love to listen to you laugh and find things that are either fabulous or terrible!
I absolutely love it when you 3 ladies get together to go shopping! You two girls’ laughs are so much like your mama, I love watching the gardening videos but when you 3 are together on an outing, that has to be one of my most favorite you tube video of all. It’s so good to see you all take time out of your busy days to enjoy each other!!
I hope the shop owner was at least nice about saying no to videoing in the store (and I understand that point of view although I’d consider it a treat to have Laura et al in the store) but I got the impression she may not have been.
There's nothing more important in life than the family. I love how you all are careful with each other's feelings and likes and everything. Of course now I'm hungry and want Italian food😂
I love watching you and Monica with your sweet mum. She has raised you both the be loving, kind and thoughtful. How wonderful for your mum to come home and find the beautiful wicker stand for the garden. I love watching you all treasure hunt and you always make me smile or laugh. XX
Great day fun with the girls. That lady that didn’t want you to film just lost some free advertising for her shop. Let us know if Mum really loved it. It’s so cute. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
what *** FUN *** I adore the shopping days with Moma & the bonus of Monica today was a winner! Tell her that she looks so great - (nice hairstyle!) 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎
The 15 drawer cabinet with the little shelves that have a hole is for paper! The hole helps you pop up the paper to get a sheet, as paper sometimes doesn’t play nice when you’re just trying to get one sheet.
I’ve been antiquing for 35 yrs and you gals are so funny! You have so much to learn. If you see something you like, take pictures showing the name and on the drive home, nondriver😂 does research and the antique lessons began. Makes drive home interesting and fun. Soon you will start to recognize makers and patterns and lots of history.
What a fun day! I’m always super excited when the notification comes up that you are antiquing. I smiled through the entire video. Thank you for bringing us along!
It's so funny, I never thought I'd enjoy these types of videos, but I'm absolutely glued to them every time. You all have such pretty taste and it's interesting to see you suggesting things for arrangements that I would otherwise overlook.
Another fun day with my fav mom and daughters! The Longaberger tray basket is used for veggies and dip. The large un-sectioned liner is used under the divided one for ice to keep your veggies cool. There's many other uses of course. :)
Loved!! The outing as always 😊 thank you for bringing us along! So sweet of you to gift your Mom the wicker cloche - I love it. You ladies deserve these outings and I’m so glad you make time for them. 👏 👏👏
What a fun day. Love to watch when you and your mom and sister go shopping. Thank you for taking us along. Monica looks so pretty today. Normally we see her in a baseball cap ☺️
So much fun. Yes longerburger baskets was an Ohio based company who had a giant basket for its headquarters. Your mom is correct. Well the food looks amazing and can only imagine the wonderful flavors you get in your mouth. Yum. Have a wonderful day and many blessings.
Laura ... That Gorgeous Massive Mirror Seen @ 6:20, Belongs In Your Current Dining Room. It's Just What That Large Wall Needs !!! Relocate The TV, Framed Picture And Smaller Mirror, Elsewhere In Your Home, And ... Center That GORGEOUS Mirror There, Along With A Beautiful Antique Buffet/Side Board Placed Directly Underneath It. That Mirror Is Absolutely Perfect For Your Home !
Love watching MOM and girl's spending time together, my mother passed when I was only 35. Always cherish those days, now in my later 60s and still miss days like those.
Those pastries look so yummy! It was sweet of them to give you them for free in exchange for the shoutout, and sweet of you not to have expected it. Always love these shopping videos, it feels like hanging out with my own mom and older sister ❤❤
What a wonderful day of shopping! Hog scraper=used for scraping hog to clean hair off of skin. When you are processing a pig. You all need to watch homesteader channels, lol. I wish we had some of those shops in my little town. Thanks for taking us along!💛
Hi Laura, I needed to comment before I even watch this antique shopping video. With all the antique, thrift and brocante shopping videos I watch, just seeing you and your Mom puts the biggest smile on my face. I love the joy you and your family radiates!!! 🥰
I was enjoying this video over dinner when suddenly my husband overheard you guys talking about taco toppings and his ears perked right up. He strongly agreed with the statement “cheese and lettuce and salsa and sour cream and all the goodies” 🤣 I think you ladies inadvertently put my on the spot to make tacos for dinner one of these nights coming up! I so love these antiquing trips! 😊💜
Always love your shopping trips with your mom and sister❣🛍🛍..weren't you talking about heading in the other direction for your next shopping trip...next horrible weather day maybe ???? Love the viola bowl and the twig cloche, so kind of you to surprise your mom with it ..acting on spur of the moment "acts of kindness" is so important and so loving 🌷🌱
We love it -- hanging out with the girls. You all continue to make beautiful memories together. After 10 years, I still miss my Mom and Sister. We had so much fun together with shopping , eating, and vacationing together. It is not the same without them. You all have lots of fun together. Love you all.
Longaberger were handwoven for pottery back in the very early 1900's. Dave Longaberger revised the company in the late 70's until early 2000's when he passed. They were extremely collectable and sold in home shows all over the country. Boise was a very popular area for sales which is why you see them. Always get the protectors when you see them!
I would store my seeds in the antique 15 drawer cabinet! I love that. Oh, and I'm from Ohio and the Longaberger company was a big deal here. Great company and great baskets in their day.
Greetings, Laura, Susan and Monica, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇸 Looks like you ladies had the best day. Thanks for taking us along. I just wish I could have tasted the beautiful Danish and a bite of your Penne dish😋 Great "finds" girls. And your husband's must have thought you got lost 🤣 Happy Gardening Everyone 👩🌾 👍 ❤️Peggy❤️
Oh Laura please research all Longaberger!! One of the ones you picked up was a tray with 2 liners! One was for like food condiments or a taco bar for food!! Another was a flat liner for a tray!! So fun that your finding and hopefully you will buy some to add to your daily use and heritage at your homes!! It means so much to all of us Longaberger family of employees!! Would just flip to see you use the baskets with your gardening! It’s an investment, but seeing the Longaberger heritage prevail and live on is amazing!!♥️ Thanks Julie Beth Sturtz
Oh you girls! Such a fun shopping day with all three of you! It’s the day after my birthday and I feel like this is such a gift! I lived in Boise for 27 years (up until 6 years ago) and it’s scratching an itch for my homesickness! Especially Hyde Park area. It’s the neighborhood where I used to take my daughter to day care, and we used to go play at Camel Back Park nearby. We would trick or treat at Halloween in those neighborhoods ( yes the beautiful Victorian and early 20th century homes). Harrison Blvd is known for trick or treating! It’s so lovely there. You should see it in the fall with all the trees decked out. My daughter’s father in law and his brother used to have a band and they would play at one of the establishments there in Hyde Park. It’s such a great part of Boise that I don’t think is well know to tourists. Another neighborhood you should visit is to the south of there on the other side of the capital. Warm Springs Avenue has some of the most beautiful mansions and gardens and also the botanical garden is in that area. You guys should check it out!!!! 💚💚🙏
I used to ride my bike all over that area when I was a kid!! There weren’t any shops, just my friend’s houses back then!! I went driving in the north end a while ago and was amazed of 2 things: How small the yards and gardens actually are! I think they shrunk from how big they were when I was a kid 😂 & how glorious that whole area really is! Thanks for the flood of such fond memories! I was a lucky kid to have gotten to grow up in such a beautiful area! ❤
I love your antiquing trips. I'm so envious, because here on Long Island, NY, almost all of our antique shops have disappeared. 25 years ago, my husband and I used to go antiquing every weekend. Almost every piece in our house has a story, a memories of past trips. On another note, thank you for mentioning the Felco 12 clippers for people with hand issues. It's been a game changer!
Fun shopping day! ☕😊👍 With lots of quaint foodie stops. Supporting small local shops is wonderful! 2:06 Those artisan pastries look high quality & yummy!
I know it's dumb to think....but I so wish you would do a "sweepstake" for a person to join in on a trip to hang with you, your mom and Monica on an antiquing adventure. You look like you have so much fun! PS...That Longaberger basket with the two liners was most likely for ice below and veggies or whatever you wanted chilled above. I love these videos!
Longaberger Baskets were handmade in Dresden Ohio. At one point they had a large factory and The Longaberger Homestead. Each basket should have the initials of the person who weaved the basket on the bottom. My husband worked there. This is a very interesting story of Dave Longaberger, the founder of the company who is now deceased. (I grew up in the area and I had a house/garden in Dresden Ohio that was in a book by Judy Condon. )
Hi Laura, Mom and Monica! The green dish/bowl at 11:05 that Mom pulls off the shelf is depression glass. In most earlier pieces the green color actually signifies that it has Uranium in the glass and it will glow under a UV light. That’s not the only color that will glow though- it’s a fun/expensive hobby.
Love the shopping videos Laura! Makes me smile to see you lovely ladies enjoy each other and go antiquing and have a cocktail lunch. Then coffee later! Benjamin and Samantha are precious. Thanks for sharing y’all’s outings. ❤❤❤
So enjoyable to go along with you on your dining and shopping outings! Loved Monica's tablecloth and the viola bowl. Your Mom is going to be so excited to come home to that unique cloche. I will never understand why a shop would not let you film, big mistake Common Ground!
That’s a “hog scraper”! 😂🤣😂🤣 Laughed til I literally choked! I love the banter between the three of you! Always love going along with you when you go antiquing; reminds me of similar outings with my mama and sisters. ♥️
I love the shopping day videos. I’ve recently gotten my mom on board with thrift shopping with me. We don’t buy a lot but we laugh a lot at some of the things we see. She enables my collections much like it seems your mom does too. Must be a Susan thing 😉
I haven't watched for a while and I wanted to tell Monica that she looked so pretty today. Her hair was just so amazing and her make up was beautiful. I just love going shopping with Laura and Mom. I feel the happiness. Love Love Love.
At 9:03 did anyone else Google "hog scraper"? South Dakota State University says: "...are used to scrape the small hairs off hog hides which removes some bacteria and gets the hide ready for the next step in meat processing." How lovely! 😄 You guys are a hoot!
As soon as I saw it I knew. I was shouting hog scraper before she read it. Huge amount of homesteading channels on you youtube. Still being used today on those channels.
I always enjoy the 'shopping with mom' videos. Reminds me of times long ago when my mom (gone now), sister and I would go for lunch and shop on Saturdays. Cherish these times, they are priceless. Thank you for sharing.💕
Laura, you absolutely should have bought that big green frog “vase”! The kids would have loved it and it would have created lasting, fun memories for them when they are older. 🐸😀 And BTW, we are still hoping your Dad will sit down with you for a chat/video. 🤞🏻
7.16 - talking about Benjamin and his piggy bank - I have to tell you this story. When My son (now in his 30s) was just a little tyke, maybe 2 or 3, he had a pair of overalls with a pocket on the chest panel which made him learn the word "pocket". He wore it to church one Sunday and was asking anyone and everyone who would listen: "penny, pocket" and would hold out the top of the pocket. So precious. Thank you, Benjamin, for bringing back an adorable, fun memory.
i really like when you three ladies go treasure hunting. I love to see what food you all eat too, of course in what you all ended up with. I tend to watch back all your past shopping after I finished with the latest! ha ha. so interesting. never a dull moment with your channel. Such enjoyment with everything you do. thanks Laura. Best to you and family❤❤
That was fun so glad to see Monica too. You are so lucky to have such a sweet sister. So you ladies deserved a beautiful day for fun don't waste them all on work. 🙌💖
There are many pretty items in this video but, I have to say, Monica's hair is beautiful!!! I don't think I've ever seen it down and it is gorgeous!!! Big hugs!!!☮️💖🙏🇺🇲✌️
At 7:44 in the video there’s a white bowl with large flowers, and pink coloured rim. This style was very classy in the good old days. I have a few bowls/platters like this from relatives which I treasure. Thanks for taking us along on these trips, always a fun time
That seemed like a really fun day❣️😊💗💕 Laura your Mom really knows your and Monica’s taste/styles. Well, actually, you’re so close you all get each other’s style. I think that’s really sweet❣️❤️
"Well, if you had two you'd have a matching pair" I love your mom!
That one had me 😂😂! She was really trying to think of a good justification for Laura to buy it!
You going antique shopping with your mother and your sister is the most wholesome content ever.
I love how mom is always trying to make you buy things. It’s so very funny 😄
Susan the enabler😂
That's exactly what I said, you need this Laura 😂
You can tell Laura’s mom is so proud of her girls and I can just see her desiring for them to have nice things😊💚
If Laura‘s Mom did not run Andrew’s Seed company, she would be so great as an antique dealer or owner. She would be able to convince every single customer why they should have an item! 😂
@@eileenchang2173 I could see that!!

The headquarters building was built to look like a basket ..Google it ....cool
Yes, Longaberger baskets are awesome 👍🏼🥰
It was a family company. We used to love to make trips to their home in Dresden Ohio, and tour the factory and all the little shops etc in town. Their headquarters later was in a basket shaped office building.
Thank you for that bit of History! So cool
YES!! I grew up seeing these in gorgeous Indiana homes
I experienced a delightful little flutter of joy when I saw the title for todays video. It is always so lovely to come along with you, your Mom and Monica on these shopping days. The best part is witnessing the love and happiness you all share. Thank you for sharing such treasured moments.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 mom is such an instigator… she would have you buying everything. I love it. I am always here for antique shopping.
I really hope there are more moms and sisters out there like this in real life. I may not have this kind of relationship with mine, but I appreciate being able to share in their joy with them. Have a great day everyone!
Ditto!
Same for me
I love these videos and it’s a plus when Monica gets to go with you two. Why can’t the world have more kind people like you all among us.
We can be one!
Good morning, Laura, Susan & Monicas☕️ I love shopping days with you ladies. 🙌🏻
Me too!!
If I was local, I'd SO patronize the Red Barn. Those scones looked incredible!
I am salivating all the way over here in So. California!
Mom: “I’m ready to shop today!” Comes home empty handed but has no problem “helping” Laura and Monica fill up their carts. 😂❤😂
Yeah, she even said “watch out girls” and left empty handed.
My mom is an enabler as well. She loves to tells us we really need this. 😂❤😂
I just love Susan, their mom!!! I could spend the day shopping and eating with her!!
@gardenanswer we have a spammer, Aaron. I’ve also reported the comment. Thanks for all you do!
@@debbielombard5132, It is 💯 all about the vibe. It's the welcoming warmth of an establishment that keeps its clientele. 😊
“Let’s get one of everything.” Always THE BEST policy when shopping at the pastry shop! 😁 or the garden center!
I so love the ‘Girl’s Day’ adventures! Always a treat to see Mom Susan and Monica! 👏💕
I am so happy you regularly include these shopping excursions with your Mom and sister! I love to listen to you laugh and find things that are either fabulous or terrible!
This family addresses things with such CLASS! Even if they do not like something they still keep it positive !

Just got off work. I'll take a nap and watch this video. They have become my favorite kind of videos
Ha. I have just had breakfast!
What a fun girls day!
Love your Mom & Monica! That shop owner-had no idea what she was missing! Bless her heart!
I hope the shop owner was at least nice about saying no to videoing in the store (and I understand that point of view although I’d consider it a treat to have Laura et al in the store) but I got the impression she may not have been.

You all are so cute together. 🥰 I wish my sister and I got along as well as you and Monica do. Your mom looks great, she can pass as another sister. 💖
What a fun day. I live in Fruitland and I had no idea that little coffee/pastry shop even existed! I will definitely have to check it out. 😊
Monica seems like such a sweet sister. I have 3 of my own and we love shopping together.
Monica seems so down to earth and so very kind. Her demeanor is just the best uplift moment a person could recieve when seeing her on the videos.
I love watching you and Monica with your sweet mum. She has raised you both the be loving, kind and thoughtful. How wonderful for your mum to come home and find the beautiful wicker stand for the garden. I love watching you all treasure hunt and you always make me smile or laugh. XX

Love girls day out! What fun it will be when Samantha is old enough to join
The best part was, at the end, laura was, after a little surprise, for her mum . What a thoughtful kind gesture, bless her.
The 15 drawer cabinet with the little shelves that have a hole is for paper! The hole helps you pop up the paper to get a sheet, as paper sometimes doesn’t play nice when you’re just trying to get one sheet.
Think I would have gotten that piece even though I didn’t know what it was originally for. Thanks for the information 😊
Thanks for the info!🌸
Morning! So fun hanging out with you and your mum! I need some friends like you!
We're all your friend!
I'll be your friend!

the way all three began to wonder and be amazed by that copper set at 11:44 . so cute! 😄😄

They don’t have a clue about Longaberger and their value!
love all my baskets! use them all the time and i decorate with them too! My sons all have the easter baskets! a beautiful family tradition.

I really do like watching you guys going antique hunt shopping. Thanks for sharing

But it is very precious to see the mom and sisters interact!
(I grew up in the area and I had a house/garden in Dresden Ohio that was in a book by Judy Condon. )
Absolutely love these videos when you Ladies are out and about having fun and enjoying each other’s company…🥰🇦🇺
That 15 drawer cabinet would be great for storing pressed flowers. 😉
I was thinking the same thing!
I've been looking for an antique cabinet to hold vintage piano music. I immediately thought of Laura's grand piano.
I have a large collection of the pink depression glass that my MIL gave me. I treasure it!
I love my longaberger baskets. They even had a building shaped like a basket
Love the shopping videos Laura! Makes me smile to see you lovely ladies enjoy each other and go antiquing and have a cocktail lunch. Then coffee later! Benjamin and Samantha are precious. Thanks for sharing y’all’s outings. ❤❤❤
Woo Hoo...Laura, Monica and Mom! Trifecta. Good morning from Maryland.
It's so fun "being" with you on your shopping trips !
So enjoyable to go along with you on your dining and shopping outings! Loved Monica's tablecloth and the viola bowl. Your Mom is going to be so excited to come home to that unique cloche. I will never understand why a shop would not let you film, big mistake Common Ground!
3 darling women. You are each so fun to go along with. Thanks for bringing us. ❤
Always enjoyed your family excursions. Love that Monica came along. You all make people long for the family connections. Have a wonderful week!
Have a great Tuesday! Enjoy all your videos. Love the dynamics with your family (mom, sister, kids, hubby). You are blessed!! ❤
I love how your Mom finds something and tells you that YOU need it. Lol she does it every time. 😂enabler alert! Hi Monica!
I’m about her mom’s age and I can tell you, I don’t need any more stuff, but I still love to shop! Wish I had daughters!
@@southloupriverhomestead4696 I checked out a few videos with homesteaders using it....wow
I always enjoy the 'shopping with mom' videos. Reminds me of times long ago when my mom (gone now), sister and I would go for lunch and shop on Saturdays. Cherish these times, they are priceless. Thank you for sharing.💕
I 100% agree!
Laura, you absolutely should have bought that big green frog “vase”! The kids would have loved it and it would have created lasting, fun memories for them when they are older. 🐸😀 And BTW, we are still hoping your Dad will sit down with you for a chat/video. 🤞🏻
And I’d like to see the brother as well as dad.
honestly mom child goals, y’all are so fun i love this vibe
I was just thinking yesterday that it would be a good time for a shopping day with your mom and sister. What fun.
As always , you girls make an event of your lunch & shopping expedition. Can’t tell you how much I enjoy “being with you “ ❤❤❤
Oh Susan is my sista “let’s get one of everything” concerning the pastries. 😃👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
i really like when you three ladies go treasure hunting. I love to see what food you all eat too, of course in what you all ended up with. I tend to watch back all your past shopping after I finished with the latest! ha ha. so interesting.
never a dull moment with your channel. Such enjoyment with everything you do.
thanks Laura.
Best to you and family❤❤
These are always my favorite videos. You ladies have a great eye for items that can be re-used for vases and just incorporating into your décor.
I enjoy these hang out days so much! Love that you show the menu, I always pause and take a gander like i’m about to order something 😆 😂
That was fun so glad to see Monica too. You are so lucky to have such a sweet sister. So you ladies deserved a beautiful day for fun don't waste them all on work. 🙌💖
As I was getting my cofree and muffin ready, I was thinking it's about time for a shopping day and VOILA! Great minds and all that
Always love your videos, especially when your mom and sister are with you! The bonus at the end with Benjamin and Samantha is icing on the cake!♥️
There are many pretty items in this video but, I have to say, Monica's hair is beautiful!!!
I don't think I've ever seen it down and it is gorgeous!!!
Big hugs!!!☮️💖🙏🇺🇲✌️
I think the egg carton is cute! Always fun shopping with mom 😄🌻-Cara
