Oktava MK-012 with cardioid capsule brings better sense of presence like listening to an actual singer right next to me. I absolutely didn't expect such a significant difference right from the first word of the song.
Rode is the last for me se and oktava kinda feel like they are on paar some things in the oktava that I would prefer differently some in the Se... Listening back. Cardoid Oktava > Cardoid SE, but Omni SE > Omni Oktava to me The winner to for me is the C4 I just really like how smooth it sounds

NT5 is too harsh and shrill, SE8 is too warm and dark, Oktava is too mid forward and thick sounding, CE4 is too thin and not enough definition to the sound. (Cardioid capsules) Maybe I'm a bit perfectionalist, but none of these "budget" mics are as good as they are advertised.
