Pikachu has had the same moves since Smash 64, which came out in the 90's, so it would totally make sense if she's been a Pikachu main since all the way back then. That would give her over 20 years of experience.

@@gerogero2011 By most accounting I am considered a Mellennial (the older "Generation Y" end, but still); 5 years deep into it from Gen X infact, and the first games I used to play were the original Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt, on the original Nintendo system, lol...though admittedly they were property of both my (comparatively young; younger than my parents) aunts. The first system they purposely bought for us was Sega Genesis, and the first game I got with it was Sonic 2. So, i'm not sure how you could be on the fringes, unless you meant the young end; not the older end, friend lol

At 1:25 , when Pekora and Marine say “Is this the final stop?”, that should instead be “Is this Final Destination?”. It’s the name of a map in Smash but also used to refer to omega(?) form maps, as it’s a singular platform the same length as final destination. It originates from Smash Melee i believe, where “No items, Final Destination, Fox only” became sort of a meme amongst fans of the game.
She says 終点 (Shūten). I sadly haven't had the opportunity to play a lot of super smash, so I don't know about that. I quickly tried looking it up, but I couldn't find the stage name. Pekora's avatar is also covering the end of the stage name in the video, but you could be right!

Gotta love how Peko's smug even in the face of overwhelming odds! Without items, she's effectively the weakest Smash player in Hololive (maybe sans the EN girls, whom I think are complete newbies).
Also, this was Marine's best game yet! I'm glad to see she's finally learned to use her down-B against opponents in the air (rather than simply comboing into it from a throw).

This is why Marine is best girl. She absolutely destroyed Pekora while simultaneously executing a verbal assault to distract her opponent. Whenever Pekora got a hit in, Marine fakes an apology and pretends to panic, right until she seizes the upper hand again and continues her barrage of in-game and verbal attacks. Poor Pekora just couldn't keep up and was thoroughly beaten.
Sometimes I think Pekora loses on purpose to keep up her idol image. She missed a clear opportunity to do a smash attack.
