This tiny house has a beautiful look and a layout that shows no wasted space! The manufacturer for this house is Mid Country Homes. The model for this home is the "Westlake Retreat 1W1901-V." What an absolutely adorable little cottage. This would be the perfect option for an elder parent/parents to have on your property for them as opposed to a senior retirement home (SO much more expensive). It would also work for that child just out of college and starting out. Loved this video, and can't wait for the new models coming up next week. See you then!

Nice little home for one and the small bedroom could be used for home office, sewing room, or craft room. I really like it all on one floor!
Tiny house means less upkeep so that would be perfect for some single person wanting to downsize from a bigger.

I would prefer to move water heater to where the closet in bedroom 2 is and completely do away with bedroom 2 and make kitchen/dining room a little bigger and the master bedroom bigger and the master closet bigger, too

I can see the use of this size home for a multitude of purposes on top of the ones mentioned in the video:
-When your elderly parents or grandparents get to an age of assisted living and the family rather have them near, but still, give them a sense of independence.
-for 18+ young adult children that need to graduate to having their own space but need to remain closer to home for whatever reason.
-home business. If you're establishing or operating an at-home business and you want a space to hold the materials, host meetings, create products, etc without it imposing on your home living space... making a purchase like this could be a better investment than leasing a headquarters/office space.
-Air B and B property investment property.
-An At-Home Child Daycare Business
-His or Hers Zone Out Space
I like it. Kinda perfect for a single guy like myself, maybe a young couple. That second bedroom is perfect for an office.
Bedroom 2 off the living room is the size of most of the closets you show. WOW!

this is a lovely home, and they really made it look spacious with the layout. i live in a 550 sq ft 100 year old home, and i guess they thought a bunch of little rooms was the way to build. thanks for another great show.

I could see this as a beach or summer home, but definitely not as a full time home. The smaller bedroom would probably only accommodate a bunk bed or a single bed, the larger bedroom possibly only s queen size.

@@JoshCraver9000 same here. It's probably about the same size as my apartment. Maybe slightly bigger. But it has a washer/dryer and a tub. Plus a dishwasher and much bigger fridge than I have in my place and a bedroom closet! This little home is perfect for me!

So this was different. Very nicely decorated. I would rather see the extra bedroom space used for other things and just have the home be one bedroom. Bathroom was a good size. The galley kitchen had everything needed. The master closet, even for a tiny home was tiny.
That first bedroom would make a perfect office/computer room

It's a cute little home butitneedsmorestorageoptions. Wish that the bigger room had the bigger closet. Have to give it that this is a new and different layout.
I thought the same thing, but if you change to tables water heater and split hvac system you could regain the lost closet space from those areas. You could also add a closet by the door off the kitchen/ bathroom area.

Perfect size home for anyone who doesn't need all the bells and whistles. Smaller size home means less space to clean. I'd turn that tiny front bedroom into a pantry and use the closet in there for coats and cleaning stuff. This place is slightly bigger than my apartment, but it has 5 things my apartment doesn't .
1. A tub
2. A dishwasher
3. Laundry appliances
4. Dishwasher
5. Closet in bedroom

I noticed this home is just 600 sq ft and I currently live in a 600 sq ft apartment, so I know what the space feels like. The space used for the second bedroom here was added to my bedroom, closet and kitchen area, so it isn't bad at all. This would make a great weekend getaway home for a couple, maybe even with two small children. Def not a full time home though.

This was awesome.. love when you do the tiny homes and just different than the norm (still love all of them tho lol😁) liked how they made it a 2 bedroom (good for bunks, an office, or a number of different options) liked the cabinets plus the full size appliances. Very cute, super tiny " bedroom" #1, more like an office space.

I would dispense with the big couches and have two very comfortable recliners (for me and husband) plus a drop leaf table and two very comfortable chairs on the side. I would put in an electric stove/fireplace in, too, for a focal point. I would have a slimline fridge/freezer instead of that huge one, and put in a rail along the wall to hang my substantial collection of clothes (husband can use the one in the master bedroom). That's for starters, anyway...
Love this! In the front bedroom I'd line the solid wall with booksheves and put a futon in front of the window, maybe a small table.
This is a beautiful home for a tiny home and people who want that kind of home, but I prefer a bigger home.

In the second bedroom you put a single for company. My house is 400sq ft. New Had intentions of putting an addition on.

Compared to other not so tiny houses the price is really good.
The layout is functional - I would try to add a half bath somehow, probably in the small room (office) closet.
