Yooooooo Sam!!! Never give up, never surrender!! Way to pivot Bud & I liked both directions you took. Hoping all is well my friend, Dirty Jersey out!!!
This was a good piece from the get go. When you see dust protectors between the drawers, you know. You did a great job of updating it. Nice staining selections . Carol from California
It's Nice. I Maybe would have also left the sides and trim the Natural Color too and Just painted the Drawers. It Feels Heavy and Office-like with so much painted.
Como foi satisfatório assistir esse vídeo, seu trabalho me encanta e me tranquiliza! Amei seu canal, ganhou uma inscrita ❤🥰 Parabéns pelo belíssimo trabalho.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It might have been a pain in the backside but the end result is beautiful Samuel. Good choice in leaving the top and base its lighter blonde colour, the stain didn't really suit it somehow.
Yes, looks great. But that was an expensive piece of furniture, solid maple or birch, maybe. These days I NEVER want to use anything to make the wood orange. They used orange shellac on everything, including floors and people are over that orange. That dark bright orange contrasts too much with the colors they use now. Personally since that was good solid wood throughout, I would say it was a bad call to paint it. The paint enhances nothing, and looks like you are trying to hide some cheap particle board or chipboard. The original finish was beat up and too orange, that is the only thing I would have corrected. Tip from an OLD finisher, I usually tint my topcoat slightly blue (not enough to notice) but it cuts that overdone orange. Hey in general, it is nice and will sell fast. Just MY 2 cents.
I didn’t like the original toner color, glad you restripped it. But, I might have tried a gel stain or something for a more brown/red stained color before painting it. It was pretty wood - and solid. I do like the finished look very much - you did a great job - it’s just not the second choice I would have made (IMHO). But, you’re the one doing the hard work so it’s your choice! ❤
So glad you changed your mind. Love the contrast.
Thanks so much!

It’s perfect. It looked uneven or out of balance before. It would also look good with black.
Thank you so much. I was originally going to use black
I'm generally not a fan of painted furniture, but this came out beautiful.

The wood was beautiful the way you stained it.
I would have probably repainted the accent drawers with a black paint.
Thank you for the info
Cool dresser cool color I don't like painted furniture
Thank you
stripping a solid wood piece and then painting it is asinine.
