Excellent - of value to any musician but particularly anyone who doesn't play folk music or is unfamiliar with the genre. Rob is such a fine player, engaging speaker and writes many fine tunes too. Thanks for putting this up!

Gorgeous proof that the concertina, in the right hands, is the king of the squeezeboxes. 'The 'Sylvia' pairing in particular was out of this world.

Bagpipers is one of my favourites. Coming home from a summer festival where I bought the cd from the band, I had this track on repeat, it’s wonderful. Then later that year Andy Cutting taught it to us in a summer school melodeon class.

Most interesting, and lovely - and inspired me (a piano accordion player) to make my instrument sound a bit like a concertina! I will give it a go! And will remember what Rob said at the end: a simple little ditty in the right hands and with the right treatment can be something wonderful.

Wonderful playing, is that a treble or something deeper?

It's a tenor-treble, so goes down to C below middle-C (and then up four octaves from there).
