- This was the twelfth installment of our Steps to Christ reading challenge. Dr. Eric joined us tonight to talk about his newfound faith in Jesus and what prayer means to him. This was a GIANT blessing to me, personally. I know it will be to you too!
Steps to Christ was written by prolific author Ellen White in 1892. It is one of the most translated books ever, having been translated into more than 100 languages. It is also one of the top five most influential books in my life personally, and is a book I've read through more times than any other.

Love Eric's testimony 🙌 I'm struck with the incredible goodness of God in how you lost a good friend and God has brought you another good friend in Eric.
My word is atmosphere. I love the fact that communion with God lifts us up into a heavenly atmosphere. This chapter was awesome!
🎉 So good to have Dr. Eric on SC with DA! What A Blessing❕🙏🏼
This was great! Welcome Eric!
All I can say is wow. Jesus has filled Eric's cup very quickly in such a short time. Jesus is so good. Continued blessings in Jesus Christ for you both Eric and David.
God is so good I loved Dr Eric's testimony and his wifes prayer on their journey over .I have personally experienced similar answers.

Yes....thank you David for your tireless work to teach us and new believers of the love of God and how to live close to Him in this crazy world
This was a beautiful thing to listen to. Thanks Eric.
Absolutely loved Eric's testimony!. Praise be to Jesus Christ our Seviour.
"Doubt your doubts before you doubt your Faith!!!"
Thank you Dr. Eric for willing to come on. It was great to hear your testimony and for sharing your insight on the chapter.
My word: Ascend

In the paragraph (can't give page numbers as yours are different from mine, as usual), that starts with, "The assurance is broad and unlimited..." that Eric read, at the end, the last 3 sentences are almost word for word for Babbie Mason's song that I am learning called, "Trust His Heart". The chorus is:
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His Heart
If we don't give forgiveness we aren't capable of receiving the gift of forgiveness.
Word: Full
Point: We ought to spend much more time praising God and drawing help and strength from Him. In so doing, we will receive boundless encouragement and joy in the Lord our Savior.
Person: God is ready to throw open the floodgates of heaven for the least of His children. (WOW what a picture of God that is!)
Prayer: Lord, teach me to pray.
Practice: Keep the blessings of God ever before you.
Promise: (Matt. 7:7) Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. (Rom. 8:32) He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
"The relations between God and each Soul are as distinct and full as though there were not another soul upon the earth to share His watchcare, not another Soul For whom He gave His beloved Son" - The privilege of Prayer
My word is gratitude 🙏
My word is strengthen
Eric’s story is amazing praise God. It’s evidence of God’s providence that in the last days many will learn as much about God in weeks, what has taken some years to learn. Praying for him and as his family.
I like that funny thought that says that a lot of times God would answer our prayers with a: "you must be kidding me"! lol
When are you gonna do a series on the Great Controversey ?
The best friend you never knew you had.
