    Over at the Artist Opus Brushes channel they suggest storing brushes laying down on a table instead of upright in a jar, or whatever, because regardless of how clean and dry you think the brush is after use there is always a minute amount of thinner/cleaner left in the bristles that will seep down into the ferrule and will shorten the brushes lifespan more and more every time this happens.

    I use superglue for filling seams it can be sanded and painted when set; you can build it up in layers for bigger tasks

    Just getting back into modelling after 15 years and great informative video young fella. I`m into the civil aircraft types,, mainly airliners. Are you going to do any thing on this subject?. Keep up the good work

      Thanks mate. i have a few civil kits and some airliners so i will be doing something a some stage. So many kits so little time mate.

    Pin vice on Amazon for $7, silly putty is great masking putty, hair dryer, lighting and magnifier are a few things I bought as well

    Thank you, scalemodelmania ,very informative..I was able to start my list of essentials.// just getting back into scale modelling after 35 yrs.//. Q. Do you hand paint most of your kits and how much do you airbrush? { I have never airbrushed before,} definitely getting one now......... your thoughts please....cheers!

    the riveter wasnt 8.90 it was a brush set bag and i could tell becuase i just bought that brush set. :) great vid

    A product I also found helpfull for buildings kits
    was Elumpa Railroad Buildings Alchemist - it will be on google if you need it
