Every sharks including Barbara, Kevin, Lori, Daymond and Robert also does the same, half of their deal failed because of due diligence or the sharks and enterpreneur changed their mind.
      You need to search a lot and can find the news easily on RUclips from their interview. Especially never trust Mark's fan because they don't want to admit this fact. They even created a hoax just to boost Mark's popularity on comment section.
      Edit : Robert is the worst? Robert and Mark joined together for some deal after the show. The worst shark is Daymond because he is limited to licensing and contigency. Barbara always out? Definitely you didn't watch from season 1 because she is the second most successfull shark after Lori, even Mark admit her instinct.

    Usually, don’t like it when sharks don’t give entrepreneurs a chance to hear other shark’s offers. But in this case, Robert gave her exactly what she offered which happens very rarely on this show and she should have said yes without hearing other sharks. Because there’s no way that the other sharks would have offered her better than the deal she came in with in the first place

Because when you see most of the episodes, when a few sharks make an offer, they don’t usually go with Kevin because they know he’s greedy and not the best business partner.       If you read the room, you would've seen that some sharks weren't sold on what she was selling, that's why they were out.
      When she got the offer from Robert, only Kevin was left...two sharks are not going to start a bidding war.
      She had no leverage. She got exactly what she came in asking for and let it slip through her fingers.
      To be honest, Kevin's offer was generous knowing that she had no other offers.

    Shark Tank has been going on for many years. There are 3 rules. 1) Accept any offer that has been offered to exactly what you asked for.. 2) Do Not bring any famous Celebrity in the tank 3) Do not act or say who favorit Sharks are

    At least her being on the show gave her exposure. I have to applaud Daymond for saying that Kevin cost her the deal with Robert. I think it is only fair for her to hear all of the offers. Hopefully she is thriving and that Robert could gone back in that deal.

      @@j-emcee4420how stupid to say that and you obviously lack the understanding of her offer which valued the sharks extraordinarily high compared to her other investors, they acknowledged just that themselves …she came to close but wanted to listen to all deals - the way they started treating entrepreneurs is horrible, to not allow them to hear other offers, which is more than fair and again realistic in the real world of pitching to investors…BUT she very likely also knows that robert rarely closes deals after show, the majority fall through, so she is just as well off as if she would have excepted roberts offer, since he likely would never have closed it - he’s ajoke even being on the show for the amount of offers he eventually pulled out of.

      no, Kevin used the leverage on the table. Kevin didn't make her lose anything, she chose that for herself. She got greedy and wanted to hear all the offers when the offer she wanted is already on the table. If you need 100% info before making a decision, you're not a good decision maker. This is why you set goals, she set goals and ignored it. She gave Kevin leverage by not accepting Richard's offer. It's really simple but most people can't think straight and too into themselves and what they can get (ex. the grass is always greener on the other side).

    I think she was hoping for Kevin to match Robert's offer and she would have accepted that because he's heavily in that space. Robert's a nice guy but not worth the 5% on this particular deal. The entrepreneur did everything right and has no regrets. Kevin missed a good opportunity.

    The point is not that Robert offered her what she asked for. The point is that he cornered her and that type of manipulative tactic is never to be trusted. I have encountered car salesmen who use that tactic all the time. Always be willing to walk away. That is the power of negotiation. Never allow anyone to corner you. That means they have power over you. You are not equals in that transaction.

    She should have counter rober with 2.5% for 125K and ask him if he would take kevin in for the other half on that deal that would have gave her an opportunity to listen to kevins offer without losing robert

      lol why, did you not understand the situation or just regurgitate what you saw in previous episodes. Kevin wanted 10% at 250k, why would he take 25% of that and still have to pay 50% and still have to put in the same effort, he's getting less for more. She is there for the expertise, not the dollar value. Kevin wasn't willing to sell his expertise for less than 10% equity, the dollar value meant nothing other than sign of good faith. Neither party cared about the $$$ value if you didn't get it, the Shark wanted equity, the girl didn't want to give up 10%. She should have offered Kevin 5% for 125k if anything to salvage her deal or to make Richard pay for his aggressiveness.

    There should be like a final jeopardy type offers where all sharks offer or dont offer at the same time with a buzzer. So many people get screwed because of the sharks' egos, or they're the last offer standing.

      well it was her fault for not countering. She rejected it without a counter offer. She could have offered 6% for less money if Kevin is offering expertise. IMO she could have done it for $0 for 3% equity if Kevin just brought expertise. She just got greedy and tried to get more than what she asked for.

Every bit of equity she gives out puts her closer to lesser than 50%. Offering Kevin 6% ain’t gonna change his mind.

Look how Lori, secures her deal, doesn’t pressure the contestants, is passionate about the product and wants to be a partner. Mark sometimes does the “say yes now” but Mark does it out of passion and for the benefit for the entrepreneur. Daymond is like Robert, who gets butt hurt and acts immature when they don’t get what they want. Plus now with the Daymond allegations.

      Actually, the sharks are greedy themselves and like greed. If the other partner is greedy, they'll try to make as much money as possible for the company.
      Greed is a plus as long as you can keep a straight head in terms of re investing capital into the business for further growth and stability.

    I hate how the u.s. shark tank doesn't let them hear all the offers and the "shot clock" and stuff. The show in other countries don't do that crap. I am glad to see that she is still doing well at $7 million a year. I'm proud of her for being a strong woman and not begging Robert for a deal like I've seen others do.

    0% or No/Low is such an interesting category. However the big names are putting product on the shelves, even if they are not really making money, they want to stop new comers getting that shelf space / building a name.
    I think some of that is why Kevin did offer. He wants add some no/low to his portfolio, future proof it.

    To those saying the sharks are "abusive" or "controlling": its one thing when ALL the sharks immediately argue at each other and cutting each other off to make an offer. You know you have some control.
    But if the other sharks arent chomping at the bit, and only one or maybe two sharks are offering, you better take that first offer you get.

      He talked himself outta a great product, yes Kevin is greedy as hell, but he technically was the right partner for her being the wine business. He can have best of both worlds and offer them too while probably upping the price along the way.

    Think about it. Everyone knows Robert is the nicest. She didn’t even try to ask Robert after he said he’s out.
    She came in there not wanting a deal, was stunned when Robert gave her exactly what she wanted because that rarely happens.
    She got a huge life line when Kevin was willing to make her an offer. If she wouldn’t have accepted Robert’s offer, again, exactly what she asked for, Mark, Kevin and even Robert would’ve roasted her all the way back to Paree

    I think she just wanted the publicity. Robert offered exactly what she asked for. Then Kevin jumped in and she wanted to hear his offer despite the ultimatum. Thing is if anyone has seen the show Kevin is the most aggressive hagler there, he generally asks for something like 60% or more equity than the presenter is offering and some type of royalty in perpetuity at the price they are looking to get. She probably knew Kevins offer wouldn't be better.
