In this video I Install, test ride and review the motocross sized wheel set for the surron light bee X made by milk racing! As well as the wheels I install some more JXR parts to the bike.
These wheels are meant to add much more traction in wet conditions and loose surface while doing off road riding. One thing I did notice about the wheels is they are much heavier than the stock set of wheels the comes on the surron.

Man all the orange upgraded parts look amazing! Super clean mate!! Really dig the rotors/sprocket and wheel spacers in orange. One day I'll upgrade my wheels lol

I definitely recommend upgrading the wheels but make sure you consider that they’ll be heavier. Not necessarily a bad thing but it has changed the feel of the ride. 🔋⚡️
@@mattfrancisofficial My front brake died and I replaced it with the Shimano M8120 XT rotor and lever. The short lever is amazing I had to replace the rear brake lever as well. Both brakes have floating 220mm rotors with Shimano pads. Man just got back from a ride testing out the new brake system and it's incredible!
I say it every other ride but the Sur Ron has been one of the best purchases ever lol!!

honestly i would go with the sm pro platinum next time ive got them on my bike and they are great quality and the delivery time was a couple of weeks ever since i put them on my bike i wouldent even think of changing em there brilliant anyway keep up the good work love your channel!!!
I do like the SM pro’s and they were an option i was thinking of but for the price there are better options available. Milk racing wheels are great quality and perform amazingly well its just the delivery time thats a pain. WGT racing wheels here in the UK are the best value for money. Same hubs as SM pro’s and thicker and stronger spokes. Wish I got the WGT wheels but the milks will do for now. The sm pro’s are great looking and i bet they perform amazing well 🙌🏻🔋⚡️
Great review. Exact same experience - I ordered my set on black Friday, they took 9 weeks to arrive (end of Feb). The wheels are great, but that's too long. They need to increase staff/inventory/ production capacity to keep up with sales.
I'll also be doing a full review of them on my channel in a few weeks. BTW - awesome editing job!

Thanks you mate!! Its such a shame the delivery time is so long! If Milk Racing could cut that down to 2 weeks maximum it would be so much better!! The products themselves are brilliant and I struggle to fault them and the pricing is spot on. Like mentioned though, delivery time is a huge let down. I know they had a busy period with a lot of delays but doing a big sale for Black Friday this should of been expected and catered for!!

a positive is that you now have much less weight on the front with all that trimming! maybe a small steak of weight loss from that heavy boi! the water kept getting deeper and deeper holy sh***! what a trooper, Sur-marine

Clean bike man! Always put the retaining clip on the chain facing into the direction of rotation, just a lil tip 😁
Thank you mate!! I’m certain the clip is correct, on the motor side the pulley/sprocket spins anti clockwise and on the chain side leading to the rear wheel it spins clockwise. It may be because I install the clip with the split link at the bottom that it looks the wrong way but I’m certain its correct! I appreciate you looking out for me though🙌🏻🔋⚡️
Nice vid as always! Hope you have no bad surprise with the shaved knobbies 🙈 had the same problem and switched to a KENDA 2.75-21 45M TT K783F 💪🚀 and a offsetted METZELER MCE 6 DAYS EXTREME ENDURO 110/80-18 58R TT in the rear. EXCEL TAKASAGO rims with SM-PRO hubs.
64t with the Torp Motor and the MTO Racing Swingarm 🚀😂 Maybe the MTO Bashguard is a good Choice for you - rocksolid and fits perfect with the Torp Motor 💪
Thank you mate!! I had a feeling some tyre shaving would be needed so it was half expected!! Your bike sounds like a beast! I’d love to see it. I definitely need that bash guard too if it fits with the torp motor. I modified my e-volve bash guard to fit and it does the job but i’m scared of banging it in the future and knocking the motor and potentially causing damage! 😬🔋⚡️

What's an update on clicking sound? I thought you would go with 18" wheel in rear. But they looking good. Is there any space between chain and wheel?
The clicking sound was definitely the chain on the chain drive becoming tighter as i was riding and causing too much pressure on the jackshaft. When tensioned correctly its fine but when riding it becomes tighter and causes that clicking/knocking. Not sure why it happens i guess my motor must be slipping down when riding. I’m still experimenting and trying things out with it.
I was tempted to go for the 18 inch rear but definitely glad i went for 19/16. There is plenty of space between the chain and tyre as i had the wheel dished to allow for it and so far no rubbing on the rear!! 🙌🏻🔋⚡️

Trust me bro i was trying to think of ways i could spin the front wheel to do what surronster did with the cheese grater😂. That was a banging idea but i had nothing to spin the wheel and no one to help me do it😂.

for sure they look way better, stock rims and tires are just funny thin but I would go with bigger sprocket to compensate weight gain
They definitely look better!! And perform better too. Why surron put those 19 inch skinny tyres on i’ll never know but i guess they were trying to cater for all riders and terrain. I’m quite liking the 54t sprocket but if i do a battery upgrade I’ll got back up to 56t for the torque for sure🙌🏻🔋⚡️

My range did go down slightly after installing the wheels to do different sizes and weight. I would definitely go for the controller first personally!💯🔋⚡️

I can assure you, i spent my life from the age of 6 years old up until recently at skateparks riding skateboards, skates, bmx and even a scooter 😂 I think I’m certified enough to rock the thrasher 🙌🏻🔋⚡️
I use 3.00-16 rear tire. Is aweasome and is so much lighter

Sm pro’s are cool but so expensive for what they are! Definitely better options for the money. I love these milk wheels but just a shame about the delivery time. WGT racing wheels is the way to go in the future 🙌🏻🔋⚡️
why are you missing a screw in the front brake disc? it hurts my soul
Trust me it hurts my soul just as much😂! When changing my brake rotors in a previous video I stripped the head of one of the bolts and haven’t replaced it since. It will be getting replaced really soon though i promise 😂🙌🏻🔋⚡️

It does feel way nicer to ride having some weight to ground it with the torque. Now i’ve had a few more rides i’m really growing to like it!! You’re right though i’ll be going for some dunlop tyres again i think. It definitely looks way better with a big chunky tyre at the back😍 thanks for watching man🙌🏻🔋⚡️

I agree not a fan of the milk racing wheels. The back wheel looks way to small an doesn't look right but still a great video.
It's a 16inch wheel.... the front is 19. The extra rubber on the tire somewhat makes up for the size difference.

You missed a bolt on front rotor
I rounded that bolt so badly before this video that i had to drill it out and i never ended up replacing it😂. Its on my to do list! I appreciate you saying though💯🔋⚡️
I think I’m going to get 19x16 but I’ve heard from some people that you shouldn’t get upgraded wheels if you have stock power. Your thoughts?
I have also heard that on stock power it will slow you down a bit with the extra weight but i’m yet to try this out. Maybe look at getting a torp controller first to increase the power of your bike on a stock battery then look into the wheels👌🏻🔋⚡️
