    You light up when you talk about Laala - it is so clear how much you love her, both in describing/talking about her, and in how much effort you put into the cosplay. Genuinely in awe at how much work goes into this - you are incredible

    Hiii, I was attempting to make a laala cosplay for this year's con but failed :,). I'm going to try to make it again for next year's convention.
    I'm a beginner in sewing and want to make her regular cylume cord do you happen to have any tips for it?

      Oooooo good question!! 🩷🌸🫶 For her regular coord, the top is pretty similar except for the shoulders, and the skirt is very similar but only two layers!! 😊 I would say if you have a dress already that's a similar shape, start your pattern based off that 🫶 Build the base, so the white top, white skirt, and striped skirt first, then tackle accessories one by one 🩷😊 I hope this was a little helpful! If you have any specific questions I can try to answer here 🫶🌸 Good luck!!! You got this!!!

      @magicalbeancosplay Okay!
      If working with satin is there anything specific I should be worried about? I've used a little bit of satin but not much to have a lot of knowledge about it and I'm thinking of making the cosplay mainly of that fabric.

      @EmilyZamarron Satin is a great fabric! Just make sure you're starting with a new needle in your machine and if there's any weird tension issues or thread bunching, it's a sign to change the needle 🥰 satin also frays pretty easily so cutting with pinking shears can be helpful but not nessecary!! 🫶😊 Most satin won't have enough structure on its own either so you'll probably need to line and interface depending on what you're using the satin for (I would line and interface a satin bodice for example, but not a skirt) 🥰🫶🩷

    The way you're able to break each cos down to the fabrics that would work best never ceases to amaze me 😭💜💛🩷🤍
    Also this was (for some reason) my first time hearing the term "eyelet lace" and it made me realize the kpop group "ILLIT"'s name may not be as random as I previously thought LOL

      AWWW!! thank you Imani! I love fabric, the picking and choosing of materials is so fun to me ☺️ Haha, that group definitely took inspiration from eyelet lace 😆 love it 🩷☺️
