That's instant,real time , it's nothing really. Drove a peugeot 407 and sometimes it got up to 27-29 when flooring, especially on a hill. However, the average was 5.5-6L/100km

@@mcolgiu3031 Hopefully an old diesel engine like the 1.9TDi can still be allowed to travel on the roads in your country even when emission laws are going to become stricter every year.

I have a 2004 Toledo 1M 1.6 (105 HP) - I topped it at 205 km/h a couple of weeks ago just for testing. Love this car - 2nd generation Toledo is one of the best looking cars ever made imo. Cheers

I had a 1.9 110hp Seat Toledo with 310.000 km. It died two months ago. That car was pretty important for me, what a great car...
Why it died?

Si quieres ir al fin del mundo con 0 problemas y pisandole sin piedad, para mí es el mejor...
Pero su descendiente 1.9 tdi atd no se queda atrás, repro tlr de 100 a 160cv y 0 problemas en sus 17 años, monomasa y sin filtro partículas, para mi este motor, el mejor que a construido wv...

What a great and classic sedan SEAT TOLEDO. Hope SEAT doesn't obsessed with SUVs. This company should make a big sedan, a E segment or D segment at least

Yes, 200km/h made 81kw tdi or 1.6Mpi 74/75kw. Many of my friends have 1.9 tdi66kw and top speed of untuned engine is 180km or with 764sprint or chip is around 185-190

I have the Passat with this engine. 370000 kms and it had not a single problem.
Driving is also my passion, i have a picture of mine when i was a baby on one of those cars that moves when u put a quarter in it, and also when i was around 5 years, my dad and i went to a gas station, and i remember he went inside to pay for gas, and i went on the driver side, don't how i knew to put the car into drive, but the car slowly started to move forward, and my dad came out finished paying the gas, and he had to run so he could stop the car...sow yeah driving is my passion 🚗
The 1.9 tdi from VAG maybe the best diesel engine ever built. I had a a4 avant 1.9 from 2004 sold in 2010 with 235000 km. Never had a problem.

I had 03. 1.8T Leon, first clutch change at 279k km and sold it to a friend cause O2M gearbox fail.
He repaired him and still have it today with a 300k km.
Engine was not touched.
I had a seat ibiza Gt TDI 110cv from 99 and that ran a lot I always went at 180 on the highway a full-fledged oil tanker when I accelerated I saw the black smoke in the rear view 😂

this is the 110hp version, I have a seat toledo 1.9 TDI with an engine that generates 110hp and drives identically.
Being able to tell that there is 20 hp difference over the video is just really impressive.

@@ilijapetrovic5002 the speed meter in this recording accelerates in the same way as for me, I will add that my friend also has 1.9 tdi 110hp and also drives the same, so I suppose it is the 110 version.
@@FeRnAnRC it may be, it all depends on the technical condition of the car and weight. The 1.9 tdi engine is the same in Audi, Skoda, VW and Seat (Vag Group), but each model has a different weight and different gearboxes.
I've ahf Toledo but mine's written😂 and It's goes better Than that. I've a 110hp earlier Toledo that It's way slower.... But this is a 90hp car the in the end It's Just to slow.

My old 2004 Peugeot 206 HDi 2.0 had similar horsepower (90 PS/89 bhp), torque (205 Nm/151 lb.ft) and top speed (112 mph/180 kph), but weighed about 100 kg less. I doubt you'd get anywhere near 200 kph (or even 190) without going downhill in either of them, and the 206 is a faster accelerating car to begin with thanks to the reduced weight.

1.9 TDI is a rough engine, with a certain diesel noise. This is not a silent engine, more modern diesel are way less noisy. But there is one thing these engines can and that is being really reliable and go for miles on miles.

Only 200 000? Its life is just starting :D These 1.9 tdi engines are simple and very reliable, it can do over a million km and work as if its new if you take good care of it 😅

I have a seat toledo 1.8 2001 automatic with a gasoline engine, this car is a car that can easily reach 200kmph so its consumption is a little high. The maximum speed I have reached has been 180kmph and the reason is because in my country the highways have very tight curves and the speed limit is 100kmph :/
Der Golf 4 Kombi meines Vaters hat auch den 1.9TDi mit 90ps und schon über 500k km, ich glaube das der Motor noch weitere 500k km packt.

i have a question. Isnt it bad to floor diesel like that. In the begining you used 2,3,4 gears in like 3-4 k rmps. I never go over 2,5k cause am scared am gonna fuck up engine. So it it alright to floor it?
Up to 4 is fine and in fact you need to do it sometimes to avoid too much carbon in your engine

What you see on the speedo is the rotation speed of your driving wheels. Your real speed is 5-15 kilometers less.

C'mon...:). I have this 1.9 90hp on a skoda. Totally impossible on a flat road. Even with a stage 2 the vmax is not increased. The gear not helping

Here in argentina VW 1.9 TDI has around 120 if I do remember (Jetta -bora)
1.9 tdi hay muchos. Los primeros eran 90hp y 110hp, uno tenía el turbo con geometría fija y el otro variable.
Luego sacaron los 130 hp y 150hp que montaban los leones fr y ibiza fr. Este motor con una simple electrónica se pone en 200hp, luego si cambiamos turbo y embrague más de 250hp sin abrir el motor.
Sigo algunos canales argentinos y la verdad que no veo ningún diésel preparado. Los que mejor los preparan son los portugueses. Saludos

Ay, can u test actual top speed of Seat Ibiza 1.4 tdi 80hp, '06-'08 facelifted version? I've been near top speed (180kph on speedometer -5kph = 175, officialy it's 176 but i'm pretty sure that it can go faster than that...), for anyone wondering I can really recommend this car...

this one can be the 90hp. It would normally top at 180km/h but it seems to be going down the hill :P
just kiding.. i would say its the 110 hp, plus the speedometer tolerance... 190km/h

We in home had an Octavia 110hp(stock) and was a litl faster than the car in this video, delivering 130hp on the bench

@@luisdinis5402 Well, it actually had... there are some with 126 hp (93 kW) 1.9 TDI. There are also some with 130hp (96 kW), but these have six speed manuals like the ones with 150 hp (110 kW)
