- What’s going on guys and welcome back to the channel! Have you ever ridden a coaster so intense and downright insane, that the only thing you could say when you got off was just Wow? Well, I’ve had 5 or so of these experiences, and the first happened when I was kid riding none other than Six Flags Magic Mountain’s X2. But did you know that in 2006, an even taller, faster, longer, and arguably more intense version of X2 would debut in Japan? That’s right, one did. With speeds of nearly 80 miles per hour and a height smashing into the hyper coaster category, this perhaps Top 5 contender for most intense coasters on earth has been thrilling riders for over a decade, and seems to have its fair share of lovers and haters. I mean, the thing looks like one of the most intimidating things I’ve ever seen. But before we move on, I gotta ask the question. What is this coaster? And where did it come from? This is the story, of Fuji-Q Highland’s, Eejanaika. 😱🎢

I want to go on something more thrilling than Multi Dimension Coaster 1.
Go To Cedar Point They Have 70 Rides There
I don't want to go to Cedar Point. It's not safe.
@@s.9070 elaborate
I've ridden Eejanaika about a dozen times and is truly my favourite coaster of all time. The intensity is just unmatched, especially if you go for a rear seat. The face down rapid brake run is terrifying lmao.
This is one of the top coasters along with X2 on my bucket list and 4th dimensional coasters are some of the most intriguing rides of all time to me. Nice job covering this one, it’s one of the craziest rides I’ve ever seen.
I rode this. The first drop is insane. They have a ride camera at the bottom of the hill, everyone looks freaked out. It was awesome.
X2 has remained in my top-10 for over a decade now, and Eejanaika is possibly tops for my bucket list coasters. Praise be to Alan! 🙏
This is one of these coasters that where simply to extreme to be fun…it just felt like a carcrash
Was there 2 years ago and didn’t know what I was getting onto. Am 6ft and the harness was harsh. The ride was astounding and while there were moments of extreme brilliance a lot of it was a shaking bone rattling experience. I rode it 3 times over 90 minutes and by the third visit was thinking amazing but ouch.
I rode Ejanaika ONCE 14 years ago and all I remember was thinking "this is just too much" 🤣 I recently went back to Fuji Q and didn't ride it. Might try again in the future, but it is definitely intense.
i rode Eejanaika in 2017 an that ride is way better than x2, its also much smoother than x2, my only complaint is i had to wait 3 hours to ride this and alot has to do of removing your shoes and all your personally belongings at the boarding station but the ride attendants were very polite and professional to which makes the experience much better
My favorite memory of the American counter part was a night time trek during an Disneyland/ Knott's Oct. vaycay. Took rental car to back road of MM. I got lost but made it back to that road. When I got to the gated fence on the "X" side the maintenance lights came ON! My heart sank! They weren't after me but were safety checking the ride around mid-night! That coaster IS massive! Intimidating as "heck" with all of that steel. I want to ride the one in Japan as well.
yeah I knew about this coaster only because of other creators on youtube. P.S. love the new intro
Good video dude :-) FYI, Eejanaika translates into English as 'Ain't It Great', and can also refer to a period in Japan (at the end of the Edo Period and beginning of the Meiji Restoration) where the country threw a year long party! Every coaster (at least major ones) at Fuji-Q have names that are a play on words:
FujiYama can translate as 'King of the Russian Mountains (coasters)' or 'Mount Fuji'.
Do-DoDonPa is like 'Do Re Mi' but, instead of measuring pitch, measures Taiko drum beats.
Takabisha can traslate as 'flying car' or 'the dominant one'.
Cool! And thanks!
holy shit that thing looks intense as hell
Nice video! Can you do video on Daidarasaurus? It's the second longest coaster ever according to RCDB and i've never heard anyone talk about.
Man I miss Magic Mountain!
Honestly, it does NOT seem like an arrow. Gives me S&S vibes.
Because Arrow didn’t build it. S&S did.
I have been on this and it is CRAZY!
That first drop looks insane
Also named “Hey! Wut Da hell?!” By a random GP.
I've ridden this and this is my number 2. Still the most intense coaster I've been on, but imo flying dino is the best in japan
Eejenaika looks insane. I would pay good money to ride it.
Hey Bro, I live in Japan. Looks like Summer 2022 is the earliest international tourism could resume in Japan.
I have a ridden Eejanaika
This coaster looks intense I'd ride it!
I was in line for hours at six flags on a hot summer day and about 3 passengers behind of getting on X2 a piece of the "track" broke off and hit a woman in the leg and I thought to myself. F@
I wanna see more of SNS’s weird Asian coasters!
You should see ElToroRyan’s Coaster Idiots video where it shows his reaction to riding Eejanaika. It’s a clip of Wayne and Garth from the 1980’s movie “Wayne’s World” down on their knees bowing to the camera saying “we’re not worthy.”

I've ridden X2 and Dinoconda in China, and I believe Dinoconda is a clone of this one. I cannot begin to describe how much more intense this version is than X2. I actually felt terrified riding this as an adult.
genuinely looks terrifying
That wooden coaster at the start tho :O
What is it called?
Boss at Six Flags St. Louis
