In my village in Mbaise, not Owerri, there is one of the best hotels in SE. And you can't get a room if you don't book ahead of time. As of two years ago( when I was home last) a room was 50ka night. There is no place in Igboland you put your business and it won't prosper. Why taste the risk?

The best luxury hotel in Africa? I don't think so. The hotel doesn't look like much.
Why can't he build this hotel in Enugu, Umuahia, Owerri, Nnewe, etc. As they are treating them like slaves in Lagos, they still have the mind to invest this much in Lagos. Anyway, they have their money to spend.
This is nothing more than a four start, if it is even close. No golf court, the environment looks claustrophobic, it is mostly lights blinking with bling bling, if people who rate hotels start rating this hotel you would find out it is nothing to write home about.

My point is, if you build the castles the way you build roads without proper protocols and maintenance plan, your castles will look like your roads in a few years and if it collapses, do you have a plan to rescue people. You will probably blame your lack of planning and execution on your government and feel good about yourself.
