The level of detail in the construction of these cars is simply amazing. To coin a phrase..."No stone is left unturned" when it comes to the details. These cars are works of art by craftsmen who are at the top of their game. I can't wait to see the finished product.
I get the overwhelming impression that Mr McAmis wouldn't give a rat's ass if I eas impressed or not. But I am so very impressed. The focus on safety, servicability, durability and the depth of thinking and planning are massive. Just awesome and so cool to watch. Thank you, sir.
Greatly appreciate these videos.. I do have a question. Is the removable transmission mount also the center front cross member? If so, I love the idea for my personal car but does it meet SFI and NHRA requirements? Thank you!
Say tim (this is just from my personal experience) i dont really think powder coating is the best for chassis, it hides cracks under the powder coat, a friend of mine actually ended up wrecking his dragster from metal fatigue in the rear four link brackets that he couldnt see (because it was under powder coat!)
