    The fact that she listened to him die on the phone then acted innocent and clueless towards his family is extremely disturbing. I think we can all agree that if we listened to someone we supposedly cared about die, it would be an emotionally scarring event. I don't know, I just feel like she exhibited some major signs of being a sociopath and narcissist.

      I totally agree. This is such an important point, especially as she's been given an earlier release date. If she could act the grieving, innocent girlfriend so completely as she did, couldn't she just as easily act the part of just a poor little girl who had an adverse reaction to her meds?
      I think it would be very interesting to know how her life pans out in a few years. I just hope that she doesn't meet anyone else who is vulnerable.

    • @darknight0dc
      @darknight0dc 4 года назад +23

      I agree, she exhibits a lot of signs of being a sociopath, like feigning an emotional attachment to Conrad when it was convenient. Lying to suit her own gain, using the death of a friend to her own gain. Using her relationship with Conrad as a way to insert herself into his family's grieving process...
      All of these things scream sociopath and now that she's essentially gotten away with it I wonder if we'll see her on the news in 10 yrs for murder...

    • @ebonyn8901
      @ebonyn8901 4 года назад +2

      @Anthony Lopez why r u commenting on so many things?? She did some really bad shit that ended in someone dying and she needs to learn a lesson from it, so she probably needed prison because she still carried on even after he died. She was an abuser, simple as. He was ill- not weak or a loser. And his parents, as far as I know, didn't do anything, they just parented him and there's a pretty limited amount they could do in this situation, especially since they didn't know what she was doing to him.

    • @holysex1052
      @holysex1052 4 года назад +1

      @Anthony Lopez your way of thinking isnt some globally accepted law of nature rule that everyone follows. EVERYONE is different and doea things differently. Some people are soft and othera hard or a mix. No two persons are 100% alike. So DONT state how someone that was menrally ill should handle emotional abuse.

    • @jessicamarsh9779

      Channy Whocares they are. Haven’t you ever heard of Dr. Kevorkian? He’s literally known as Dr. Death bc he helped assist with 130 terminally ill patients with dying when they were in their final stages. He was on trial for Murder 2. Doctors can not assist in suicide for terminally ill patients who have a reason to end it vs suffering. If Medical MD’s can not assist in suicide and if they are held accountable, so should this girl.

    • @alymutch9931
      @alymutch9931 4 года назад +7

      That’s a diff scenario though. That’s them physically supplying you or assisting with suicide. That’s why this was such a crazy case because she wasn’t ever with him she just texted. It should def be murder or atleast manslaughter but the doctor thing and this is still different scenarios.

    I work in the operating room in a hospital and I’m on the open heart surgery team. During cardiac bypass surgeries we actively cool the humans internal body temperature and sometimes even pack the brain with ice. And then the patient is put on a machine called the heart lung machine that stops the heart completely to be able to operate on the heart. So the patient is basically dead while open heart surgery. And then we re warm the patient after they come off the machine so this isn’t completely a new concept. But I love that it’s included.

      Keep going and make little rituals out of mundane actions in your day. You’re worthy of peace. If you feel the lows like described in this podcast I suggest trying what helps me: clean a room in your house, like really clean it and dust it and fold your laundry and straighten your closet. Try aromatherapy like a new scented candle or body wash. Listen to music without lyrics while you smoke and scribble with a sharpie on white paper. Take a walk outside without any music or phone and ground yourself by saying out loud 5 physical things around you. I hope you have a good day. 🌹

    For anyone out there who may be feeling suicidal, just know that you can overcome this. I was very depressed last year and way very lonely. I had gone through a breakup after 5 years, lived on my own in a city on my own and no family or friends nearby. This was during the peak of Covid where everyone was on lockdown for several months, and I had little communication to anyone. My loneliness and depression overtook me, and I decided I needed a distraction. It may seem silly, but I got a puppy. He gave me a reason. Even though I wasn’t allowed to have pets in my apartment, I registered him as a support animal. He gave me a reason to get up in the morning, go outside to get fresh air and take him for walks or to the dog park, and someone to spend time with. Even to this day, after a year and a half, he is the biggest blessing in my life. When I was on the brink of suicide, my only thoughts were that I couldn’t leave him alone… we were all each other had. Anyway, just know that there are reasons to live, it may just take some searching, and please remember to not isolate yourself, that’s the worst thing you can do. There are people here to talk to and support you ♥️

    I NEVER comment but
    About 2 years ago my best friend was going through a tough time with mental illness. She depended on me a lot, I felt I had to be strong only for her, my whole life became consumed by trying to make her feel better and get her help that I got stuck in a bad place myself. In the end I had to no longer be friends with her for my own sanity and wish her the best (she’s fine btw)
    I don’t suffer with mental illness, so I can image how Michelle was feeling dealing with her own mental illness problems and her boyfriends. I do believe she wanted to help him in the beginning but turned selfish for her own recovery, which is necessary, she emotionally couldn’t deal with Conrad depending on her.
    I’M NOT DEFENDING HER AT ALL I think they were both in desperate need of help and them relying on eachother so much was a toxic mix.
    Really anxious to post this so please don’t come for me.

    I know someone who committed suicide and was coached by a stranger online who was posing as a female nurse. She thought she was getting help but then it turned into the "nurse" telling her how to do it. Turns out, it was some male creep in another country that was getting satisfaction from it. Her parents had to fight so incredibly hard for him to be caught and even when he was, they had to fight even harder for him to be charged.

When they found his body a teacher (who’s son was one of Thomas’s friend) committed suicide. His phone was found a year or 2 later with no water damage or sun damage. They had a harsh winter and hot summers so there’s absolutely no way the phone was in perfect condition on the dirt floor. They’re closing in fast! I cant/wont talk about how medication could have affected Michelle's mental state or motives, but I can speak about my own personal experience with antidepressants as a teenager. I'm diagnosed bipolar and currently on medication that has saved my life - but when I was 12 - 14 I was put on Zoloft and then Prozac later. They didnt know then (I'm 37 now) that these medications were harmful to teens. My bipolar skyrocked on these meds to the point of self-harm and attempted suicide. These meds made my bipolar 10x worse and nearly killed me. I was quite literally insane, logic and common sense were non-existent. For those who dont know what mania looks/feels like, for me it was being so full of energy that not only did I not need sleep for 2-3 days straight (and when I did sleep it would be a nap) but I couldnt sit still at all. I would literally be dancing and jumping up and down for hours while cleaning every room in the house. It was like I could feel currents of electricity coursing through my veins. When I was able to sit down and concentrate I'd stay up for 48hrs straight writing or drawing non-stop. Some times I was doing 5 things at once and others I was obsessively focused on just one thing. In either case I felt like I couldnt stop even if I'd wanted to. While in mania I felt euphoric - not positive or happy like life was great or anything, I still hated myself and my life and was still self-harming - but just full of excited energy. I'd be jumping up and down with all this energy while crying with deep self-hatred. Like I said I was literally insane, no logic. I definitely didnt think the meds were helping but I was told to keep taking them because they needed time to take effect. Egg was on their face when I eventually OD'd on them. Like with Conrad and his attempt with Tylenol, I was immediately taken to the hospital before any damage was done. Throughout the years I've had mania "flare-up's" but nothing as extreme as what I went through in my teens.

    •destructive

    And no mental illness can excuse actions like hers. She could've chosen art, sports, writing, any martial art. But no! Making someone believe they are correct in that they shouldn't be alive, that their family will get over it "in a week or two", and that they are wasting precious time by questioning which day to actually kill themselves. She made him feel comfortable in death when he was completely capable of living a healthy and happy life.
    When your a teenager everything feels like it will last forever even without mental help problems...

I would have loved to have known him and helped him realize he might be small but we all are, and the things he accomplished and the person he was mattered. Wish we would have known what the world would be with him in it. Rip Conrad, you are missed so much more than you ever could have imagined

    When this story first happened I was appalled someone could be so evil. Now as a mother thinking of someone doing this to my child. It upsets me so deeply. I can’t even put it into words. She is a different level of evil

    I remember back in high school I was really depressed and suicidal. I had a friend who was suicidal also and he said he was going to kill himself constantly every day over and over. I believed him and wore myself out trying to make him better and make him not hurt himself. At some point I just broke and I could keep holding him up when I couldn’t even hold myself together so I stopped encouraging him and I just let him talk that way and I knew he wasn’t going to do it he just wanted attention. I never told him to do it or anything but I can totally understand getting to a point where you’re just like “okay buddy. We’re both at the bottom now. Put your money where your mouth is if you’re REALLY that depressed” to make someone admit they aren’t going to do it or make someone admit they need help or something to that affect. Not condoning what Michelle did AT ALL that was horrific but I sort of understand her breaking point and maybe after that she just took it way too far.

    I watched the outcome of the trial on Foxtel ID. I am sooo mad at the outcome. The legal system let him down. She should have gotten a longer sentence!

    Conrad also would psychologically torture Michelle. He would text her that he was going to kill himself then not answer her calls or texts for long periods of time. His sick games and constant dismissal of her offers to help might have created a breaking point for a girl who couldn't handle breaking off the connection however toxic it was. Also, psychological medications have the most severe side effects on teenage brains. There is such a huge chemical imbalance it makes it very hard for medications to be effective and NOT harmful. Is she guilty of assisting in his suicide, absolutely. But she's not the only guilty party, unfortunately the other person who pushed the agenda died in a car with a generator.

    Won't she be done for keeping information from the police? She knew where he was when he was reported missing, but acted like she had no idea.
