My great-grandfather. May he rest in peace
Great story - show's the power of MR.CHARLIE PRIDE.
I was the bass player on one of his gigs… lovely man real hard worker
May he rest in peace. Unbelievable singer.
Wonderful story!! There need to be movie of him!
They need to make a Movie about Charlie Pride + his son Dion could play the part of his Father, it would be a brilliant story, such a Gentleman, lovely mannerisms well brought up, & a great singer, l read his book more than once. His wife Rozene is beautiful
She has an Irish surname, with all the young Irishmen & boys that the British sent to Jamaica during the 1847 IRISH Famine l think Charlie had a sprinkling of Irish in his bloodline as well, along with his proud Native American Indian., that is why he was the special talented man that he was. There will never be another like him, God Bless Rozene & all his family Rest in peace Charlie +💕
What a great guy helping Charlie pride out like that thank you sir Rip
Rest in Peace my Friend Thanks For The Friendship THANK You for the memories. I love you LARRY BUTLER
Kenneth Turbeville I lived across the street from him for many years. Good man
Lovely
Me over here living in his old house
Nice story....
It's disgusting that anybody black should have to go through anything like this do we not all breath the same air ?
Yes it a shame....Irish people had to endure this crap no too many years ago too.. there were signs up .no Irish or blacks need apply. It's not totally about color...
@@kennymartin3416 I know exactly what you're saying Martin I'm Irish
I remember during 'the black seventies' when Irish in Britain had to endure the same cruel prejudice
I too had to pay the price were on the same page
@@kennymartin3416 it’s not about colour but even in Ireland the blacks wasn’t wanted they were called all kinds of racist names
I rented the house from him for the last four years of his life I am proud to call him and friend and will miss him always
