A million times thank you for actually shutting the hell up and just playing the guitar. Almost all reviewers dont understand that and it pisses me off to no end!
Have you noticed that this model often gets buzzing strings due to neck warping, or is it for another reason? I'm thinking about getting this model off someone on craigslist
I bought this guitar basically because of this demo. This guy is an amazing player , so good. You don't play like , with passion and sincerity, on a bad guitar. This guitar comes with really low action and with phosphorus bronze custom light strings Ita got plenty of low-end too. The reason is there is a slight arch in the back of the guitar to help push more low-end. Also the saddle and nut are herringbone oh, so there is just so much sustained and tone. Amazing guitar
Listened to, and adored your playing for a long while, but this demo it is something extra..... Fantastic.... Maybe you liked the Guild a little extra.
Reminds me of a character named Herschel! Can't recall the movie or show, but I don't think he could play as well as this guy! Playing any Guild helps!
Just bought one of these today for $250, used. Guitar Center had it for only 3 days and there's a law where I live that says they have to have it in the store for 14 business before it can leave the store, in case it's stolen. I was heartbroken. I lost my only guitar in a house fire 6-7 months ago. I'm supposed to be playing this guitar right now.
Had and sold the FG830, would choose the Guild Over the Yamaha. Reason why I sold was because I didn’t like how the Yamaha sounded higher up on the neck, some notes were off pitch.
It's pretty darn loud. Waayyy louder than my old Takamine G10 with it's laminated top. It's a very dynamic instrument for the money. It just might be the best guitar in it's price range, if you're looking for a dreadnought. I paid 400 USD and it came with a good quality gig bag. The secret to this guitar is that, like their higher end US models, it has an arched back with no back braces. If you're sitting down it's very loud. The only things I have a complaints with is the smaller vintage style frets and a flatter fret board than I prefer. Guild always brags about string to string balance and they were able to do it with a cheaper version because of good design.
Picked one of these up today from a local pawn shop just needs some TLC as it's been sitting in dry conditions the bridge is bellying up a little and the truss rod could use an adjustment and a slight crack in the left lower bout about two inches long not wide at all. Other than that played and sounded pretty good going to complete rehydrate using boveda packs and go from there. Does any one know where I can find a chart for the serial to see when it was made?
I'm looking at this model from a guy on craigslist, it's a gift for someone. Are ya still happy with how it sounds, plays, etc? Just wondering, thanks in advance : ]
I'm trying to decide between those exact two guitars right now! Wondering which one you went with, and if you're happy with the sound, feel, any issues, etc.? Thank you in advance!
to each their own I guess. For a solid top laminate BnS, I think it sounds pretty good. At the very least, it sounds more full than a Taylor 110 or Gibson G series.
Absolutely beautiful playing! Wow! One of the best demos I've seen.

Yep..most of these fellas like the sound of their own voice.. Can be irritating.
This dude did it perfectly!!
Great appreciation for what a Guild can do in the right hands😊
Finally someone who can play the guild 240e without buzzing all over the place. Thank you

Guitars that have fret buzz (whic is what it is called) either need the action adjusted (with the truss rod) or the nut replaced/filed. No big deal.
Nice guitar, nice playing, nice price, and great demonstration.
That is just stunning. Love the way you play.
Best Guitar Review ever!
Excellent playing dude!
Excellent...thorough examination of this great guitar's attributes. Good job and thank you :)
Calidad, precio increíble, demostración genial gracias

Awesome playing!!!!!
Fantastic guitar player!
Ouuuch ... great feeling !
Amazing playing! Loved it
Great playing brother!
확실히 탑솔은 소리가 날리네요. 부족한 느낌입니다. 조선생님 샘플이라서 최상의 사운드를 뽑아낸거 같네요...
저는 아주좋네요^^
Nice playing, Fred Armisen!
Wich microphone is that? Amazing playing
Reminds me of a character named Herschel!
Can't recall the movie or show, but I don't think he could play as well as this guy!
Playing any Guild helps!
well,. that sure blows away any hesitation on the full tone range for this guitar

Превосходно👍🤤, а звук просто шик)
Hi! Do you prefer this or guild jumbo junior? For play at home with the family. Thanks so much
D240e or d260ce?? What guitar has best electric sound for acoustic gigs?!
which string gauge and brand do you use? I have the same model, and I absolutely love it with medium gauge, thanks
Very nice indeed!
is this really d240e? the tuners look different. antique finished.
There seems to be variations of the head stock color and even the tuner color from year to year. These tuners may have been replaced as mentioned.
I'm really hesitating between this Guild and a Yamaha FG830, what would you guys suggest?
Following...

The Guild is better built and is electric. 👌
:34 the best 👍🍺
Hei guys, new model doesnt brings the softback guild!! is truth??
how about a tutorial on the strumming and chord progression?
to play fingerstyle is this guitar comfortable?
How loud is it unplugged?
Billy Frazier I would say fairly high, compared to other acoustics I’ve played. I’ve owned mine about 3 years and love it.

Review Guild D140 all solid

It´s the indian not the arrow.
Sounds awful, the D40 sounds amazing though.
You seriously think that this sounds awful? Is it because it's not 'made in USA' ??

3000$ vs 555$ ... at this price sound is amazing
D Mar I be with you 100% ! It’s sounds great. Always going to be a jerk
Haha what a jerk
