We really need to do something about this, because we shouldn't be paying for a website that has always helped us study for free, and it took me almost three years to have everything that I learned before from one of my languages to be included in Quizlet so that I can review and study them over the summer. @@matpollo97 the resources students rely on on that website aren't their product, they're the product of hours and hours of work that we put in to making study sets, and students who can't afford an online subscription (ie. those from a disadvantaged background, those on student loans, scholarships, first-generation uni students, more likely minority students, children of immigrant families etc etc etc) now have next to no access to their own material. quizlet spent years establishing a trust based relationship with the student community through their product (who in turn made use of the website and uploaded thousands of hours worth of content) and destroyed that all in one go, leaving those who struggle to get through their studies without it in a fucking ridiculous and stressful situation.
