A 2 foot long 3 inch exhaust does that. all 2.4L Chryslers sound like this. you know, minus the lope, but such a wonderful sound. also because my PT sounds like this everyone gives me the dumbest looks. its so funny. soon she is getting new bottom end, top end, big cams and a borg warner S261-rs forged wheel turbo. and just got a new trans and high stall converter with a welded diff. because why not, im retired and have nothing else better to do.

baron brown Yeah, that sucks, but the one I was going to buy, I actually found out that it was cranking out 367 hp to the wheels, but I'm not sure if I'm still going to buy it or not. I've been really thinking about it lately, I would have more use of and be better off getting a Pickup Truck, because I'm not young anymore and a 4×4 will also be better in the snow and in case of an emergency I can get out rain, shine or snow. I've been looking at this 1999 Ford F-250 6.8L Triton V-10 XLT Super Duty 4×4, which is a 4 door, and although it has 173,000 miles on it, you absolutely wouldn't be able to tell it had that kind of miles on it, the thing is absolutely spotless! There's not one single dent, ding or paint chip on it anywhere, the paint still has a good shine to it and the interior you can eat off of, I mean the carpet is spotless with no stains, and the seats are spotless without any stains or being worn out! Whoever had the truck took supper good care of it, even the engine compartment is spotless, they said that the people who owned it put mostly all highway miles on it and they babied it, which shows. I just couldn't believe how clean it is for a 1999 with 173,000 on it, and oh yeah, I forgot to mention that it has adjustable air shocks on it, a lift kit and new two tone black and aluminum rims with tires.....the centers of the rims are black aluminum, but the rest is shiny aluminum, the truck looks like new, no rust or mud under the undercarriage, which I can see that someone painted it, but I can tell that it wasn't painted over rust, and there's no rust whatsoever on it anywhere.....you'd really have to see it to appreciate it, my describing it really isn't doing it justice, you know. lol. Well, I really hope you get your car fixed. And the guy who has the truck said that he would hold off from relisting it on eBay or selling it until I can get my money, which should be within the next month or less, but if he does sell it, then I still might buy the 2004 SRT-4 Neon. i was the original builder of this car. i believe its on a military base in New Orleans area now. it was rebuilt with a stock only motor.
