I am loving it too! This has become daily use laptop :)
I just got the Pearlescent Steel skin and put it on my Razer Blade 16 and the darn skin is a fingerprint magnet too where it will show any oil smudges from your fingers. The other frustrating thing is when you remove the clean film from the skins, it will pull the skin off of the laptop in many places creating more air bubbles and potentially shifting the skin in places....it almost ripped some of the small pieces off around the logo on the lid. I had the touch pad perfect and then pulled off the clear film and it shifted it. I then had to re do it without the clear skin and these skins seem very thin and didn't get it back to perfect how I wanted because it is so thin, I didn't want to tear it or permanently wrinkle it by trying to remove it and apply it again. I do appreciate that this layer is probably so you don't scratch or tear the thin good skin while applying it, but it is REALLY sticky. I never had this problem with dbrand skins. It's a beautiful skin but I am kind of regretting this purchase. Like the video says...TAKE YOUR TIME and do not rush this...these were much more work to do than dbrand skins are in my opinion.
Cooler than I thought. If you have used a loptop for a long time, and get tired of it, I'd like to change skin, upgrade SSD, change thermal paste and wallpaper. Boom a new laptop
that's so true, and it gives you a unique looking laptop compared the sea of black and silver laptops out there

I have to say, that is the coolest cover designer I have ever seen.
Just buy the Geometric Mercury for my Blade 15 and I have to say. it's good make me feel the machine still brand new and less fingerprint and not stuck at the black one. overall nice video mate.

so the 14 is your go-to daily driver laptop. What laptop are you using for AAA games? - or are you saying that you've just been using the 14 for gaming too? Great video - as always!
ATM I would say I have been using the 14 90% of the time in my daily use as it is just so portable. This is for work and play. the other 10% was with the m18 for heavy AAA gaming for the odd night that I get to spend an extended amount of time playing. That said, I have just started testing the Blade 18 and wow am I loving it, the m18 might be getting replaced

Wish they sold the joyplot skin separately.
My main concern with the skin is losing the "feel" of the laptop.
Does it make it feel cheaper or plasticy?
not to me, it feels glossy and solid as its very thin. I have always skinned my MacBooks in days gone by and love the look and the scratch protection it provides

That skin is cooler than the rest of them and does not appear to be sold on their website. At least not anymore.

@@MashITTech Yeah…that’s cause it’s limited edition and exclusive to buying the laptop direct from them instead of your preferred retailer like Best Buy or Amazon (both of which have better protection options and faster shipping)

@@MashITTech you’re welcome. My thoughts exactly. I ended up going with a mercury model instead since it was on sale and I could not get the skin that I wanted for the black. Hoping to find some kind of really cool pearlescent skin later.

Y it doesn't have a numpad 😢
Because it is a tiny 14” laptop, there just isn’t room but razer won’t put number pads even on their larger notebooks
@MashITTech that's exactly my point even the 18 model doesn't have a numpad which is a MUST for me personally..
Well... I bought a RAZER to have a 'not flashy gaming notebook' so... No, thank you. For me this skin defeats one important purpose of buying RAZER. But the skin does look very nice.
Haha this one is quite garish but I love it. They offer plenty of plain options such as carbon fibre

@@MashITTechI’ve seen the other ones but this one is just so much better in my opinion. I am getting my 14 next week but I’ll probably wait until I find some other one that catches my eye. I’m not really a fan of any of the dbrand ones.
