The brand is called suchiiyu (SCY). The RC design is based on another china brand called xinlehong (XLH) model Q901/902/903 with harder metal gears and redesigned chassis. 4000kv brushless motor, 18t pinon and 46t spur are great combination for speed and power for this size...

@@Rek_RcMaan i have the Gantry pro version of the yellow one you got and recently fried the esc because i put a 3s lipo on it 😅, ended up buying a new receiver and a cheap esc but sadly the esc is the biggest piece of crap of course and the poor car cries inside every time i try to run it, any recommendations for a good esc and make it as good or better with the stock motor?

LOL it could be worse. I remember walking behind my rc car because it was attached to the controlled with a wire and would only turn when you reversed it. LOL hahaha😀😅🤣😂

I have the JJRC/SCY Q130 SCT which uses similar underpinnings as your fast RC featured in the video. Slap some oil filled shocks on and it even more fun than the truggy version. Ironically I also have a MJX HyperGo 14210. While the HyperGo is better built, it's ESC and Tx/RX needs some improvement. The JJRC/SCY is just fine right out of the box
You nailed it the MJX is better built but the other car just somehow drove as good or slightly better considering the shocks.
@Rek_Rc I found the Q130 Short course truck to be more fun than the HyperGo. It also comes with 2 spare wheels fixed to the body which let's you wheelie on command even on 2s. Great to have spares too. Great truck for half the price of the HyperGo
I ended up getting four of these now. I also ordered the complete aluminum upgrade parts for everything. I'm also using a 45 amp ESC with the 3s and 80 see with 3,000 mAh battery which is insane. The first time I started using this I thought to myself I can't believe I got it for this price and how do people go spend $4,500 or more when this one is so nice LOL
It is a tough one to beat when you consider the price and the performance

Well I just did something crazy yesterday and today I was able to finally use my 4S battery on this vehicle. I put a 2847 - 3200 KV motor in there instead of the 4000 KV. I also upgraded the shocks of course and I put really good fans on the motor and the esc. And I felt this car was badass on a 3DS well on a 4S you could be going like 70% throttle and hit the trigger and that damn thing still does a backflip

What esc did you use? No way that stock one would work imo..if it did this car is insanely good..

I can't believe how some companies ask insane prices for crap, while others offer great performance for reasonable to low prices.
I agree. Same thing goes for cameras and computers. My struggle lately has been my computers. I overladed the USB buss on my 8 year old Asus that I loved so much. I wanted to get right back up and running so I bought a new PC. It's called the OMEN. What a pile of crap. The guy at the store told me that it had a much better video card than was in my Asus and would run circles around it. I immediately noticed that it was slow and over the past month or so has crashed several times during renders and now I only have one HDMI port that functions. I just don't know all the ins and outs about computers and current windows OS. It would be a pain in the butt to return or even leave for warranty repair. I try and direct every file onto removable drives and leave the drive it came with clean just in case of a return but still who is to say that some files migrate to your C drive such as banking and such. @@Rek_Rc
I bought a nearly identical rc truck 2 years ago, replaced shocks with oil ones and love it. Fast n fun af. cool video n thx 4 link. $90 incredible price imo. o7
For that performance, that price is near unbelievable. I'm planning to change the shocks too.

Great video brother, you are right the mjx are better quality built RC's but these Suchiyu/JJRC cars are one of the best bang for buck out there under $100 bucks. I have the Jeep bodied version called the Gantry pro and on paddle tyres its Insane! You should definitely try this truggy on paddles, you'll have a Blast! 🤟😁 Also i fitted wltoys 144001 oil shocks to the Gantry and it made it so much better.

I got one of these Schark Sparks from Amazon last October and I was not prepared for how fast it was. And 3S was absolutely bonkers. It handles good. It flips well. It takes a beating and it's just fun. I got it just to have something to play with around the house after being out of the hobby for a while. It's a little too small for my liking, but it's still fun.
Its small size is basically its biggest limiting factor. But holy cow that speed! I wasn't expecting that at all. I would have been satisfied with 40 MPH for the price. But it put 40 in the rear view easily!
I'm new to the hobby and have been watching reviews for the last couple of days I really enjoyed this guy's personality..

I have that same yellow rc and also the buggy red version. And love them.
There is 14th scale version called the JJRC Q130 which is bananas on speed, pops infinite wheelies 😮😮.

BTW I installed some hyper go mjx shocks and it now performs amazing.
I was thinking of Hypergo or WLtoys shocks for it. You're right as well, the cheaper brands are bringing amazing performance for their prices and it just seems to get better and better lately.
I bought one on Temu a few months ago and it’s taken a beating and is still bashing. Also, I did replace the friction shocks with some WLtoys oil filled shocks.
Wltoys shocks are exactly what I'm planning to use.

It's funny I came across this video, because I purchased this 3 days ago from Amazon on sale for 79$plus tax and I even tried to link it on a deals page but they wouldn't take it. Said the seller only had 200 reviews for the product and they required 750 or more blah blah blah. Regardless mine comes in tomorrow and I already ordered a fan for the motor, because I hear there's some overheating issues running it on 3S. Let me know if you know If you can take some dimensions of the included battery so I can order a 3S to match. Thanks bud. Love the vibe. RC cars are so fun, and to your point crappy RC car is really kill the buz.
A fan for the motor is a good idea. You'd get away with it without one for the most part, but if you're going to be ripping through grass and high grip areas, you made a good choice getting one. I'm glad you mentioned that because that's the one thing about that car that I forgot to mention. I did notice the heat, it wasn't alarming, but I would have been worth mentioning. I appreciate the comment. Thank you! As far as parts for this car, the only repair I've had to make to mine was the main shaft after a skatepark bash, I haven't had to explore other parts yet so I'm not sure. But, I'll look into it and see if I can help point you in the right direction.

I really appreciate that, thank you! My favorite RC type is short course trucks, my favorite RC for general bashing and ripping around is the Arrma Senton BLX with the Traxxas slash at a very close second, though the slash handles better.

My nephew has the hyper go. It's the 149.99 version. And we were playing around last weekend and he only wanted to drive mine. So it is much better than the MJ hyperdrives whatever those are
These cheap cars are so impressive in what they can do it almost shouldn't even make sense
The first one is really bad which is unfortunate the second one is good to see, mjx is currently dominating the market and we need to see some competition
Totally agree. I love MJX, they make about the best small scale budget RC cars you can get. But, good competition will only make it better for us consumers.

Great video as always! My country’s biggest Rc hobby shop is getting them both and will have parts support. Which one of them would you recommend? I’ve heard the mjx has delay when you gas and that it’s very unstable and heavy. What’s your opinion? I mainly want a very durable car to do crazy jumps with and to be a backup for my e revo 1/16. What’s your opinion on this? :)
Personally I'd still go with the MJX, no RC is perfect, but MJX is much more recognized and parts will probably be more available.

What shocks did you switch them with? I couldn't find one that worked. Screw holes were off or not right length.
I haven't switched them yet. Planning to before the skatepark video of it though

Mate help something happened to my JJRC battery.. I bought new JJRC but it is not moving backward or forward but yes the steering works, it turns left and right but the light of the RC flashes continously which is a sign of battery mal fucntion, Now what should i do?
How many 3s packs does it survive especially the differentials? 😅 1:16 mjx differentials are crap out of the box at 3s

Can 3s lipo batteries be connected to the basic model 16101 pro? Won't it burn?
I can't say, and I don't want to mislead you. It works great on the model I had in the video. But I can't say for sure about any others.

Were you running the fast orange car on 3s 1000mah high c battery? What about temps on motor and esc? I do believe the radio in these cars is way better than mjx..dual rate steering and long range..Great truck
It was a 2200mah 3s lipo if I remember correctly.
I heard that car has 2 different rx/escs...1 has tabs added to screw is on chassis the other has no tabs and is attached with servo tape...the tabbed one has been known to fail on 3s the one taped down handles 3s without issues...do you still have yours? Curious to know which esc you have...thanks for sharing..😊

@@Rek_Rcooooh yeah I saw now at 9:08 the battery itself haha It's a great car, probably the best thing in 1/16 right now even with if it has a few compromises. There are also SCT, buggy, desert buggy and drifter versions with basically a different body.
Temu pretty amazing I been getting some small powerful lights you can make your Rc glow or light 💡 the block up for a 1.79 😂 , just they seem only like 12v 4s they get too hot 🥵 also get little volt meters gps meters but they have usb I wanted have RC display the speed .
You had any problems of it cutting out on high speed level??
Not so far. I imagine with enough heat build up or load on the ESC it's possible though. I just haven't had it happen yet.
@Rek_Rc okay man my wife loves this car only one she wants to drive will choose it over all of them. hers just started doing it every so often last night. only after landing when she would jump it deans plug was snug tho everything seemed in working order and using the battery it came with curious if anyone else had that problem or had a fix thanks tho! You might be right maybe her hammering on it right before she hits it is overloading it!

I just added a link in the description for the ones I used. They are snug, but they fit well. I didn't use the battery strap because I forgot it, but even without the strap, the battery held even with a few crashes, it popped out once or twice as well, but there was no damage. It stayed in place through most crashes though.

Me personally will never buy China junk. Reliability and availability of parts are the two reasons.
I can understand that thought. This car luckily has parts support, but it may take a while to parts to arrive. So I understand wanting the convenience of Arrma, Traxxas, losi and so on availability.
