Google Ads Advertiser Account Verification (2023)

- Learn how to verify your Google Ads Account to continue running Google Ads in 2023.
A lot of accounts are getting the notification to complete their advertiser verification. Google wants to confirm all their advertisers' information and collect data. This information will be shown when they present ads.
Agencies will have to submit an agency verification and individual ad accounts will have to submit a client advertiser verification.
Google Ads is giving each account a deadline for this so make sure you complete the form and process ASAP. Here are the steps.
1. Log into your account
2. The click banner where it says to complete your advertiser verification
3. Or go to Billing, then settings, then advertiser verification
4. Read the details and policies for this
5. Then click "Start Verification"
6. Choose if you are an agency or a client running your own ads
7. Choose option if its your account and products or for someone else
8. Complete the other questions asked about your account
9. Fill out the profile about your business details
10. Name, number, address, business details, etc
11. Submit the verification
12. Wait for approval
It usually takes a few days to get verified then approved. Then you'll notice you can include extensions showing your business details in the ads when shown on Google to potential customers.
This helps identify you and your brand to customers and clients. It also helps Google collect more data.

I run a google ads marketing agency, but i don't use a "Manager-Account" to run my clients ads, instead I just login to their google ads account. Therefore I'm wondering what I should answer to the first questions, because depending on if I answer them, or my client answers them, it will be different answers. But the answers would come from the same account so does it matter? I hope I explained it well enough
You should have the clients answer the questions and you should use an MCC so you dont need to keep logging in and using their logins and bypassing verifications
I had done and went through all these steps for my google ad account advertiser verification . Atlast of all these they showed that your email has been sent .After 2 weeks yet i didnt recieved any emails regarding this and advertiser verification of my ad account is still pending .Whats the reason ?

have you had experience working with the new version of advertiser verification where it asks for a drivers license etc? will an agency need to reach out to the client to create their own payments profile and submit their own documents?

Google changed this process and we're at a loss of how to verify a client similar to this way - it looks more complicated and the client has to be more involved.
Hi, I'm managing the ads for my dad's small business, which i also work for sometimes, but all the documents (if they ask for it, will have his name on it). So do you foresee any problems I may encounter once i start the process? Google is saying that all ads will be stopping sept 9th if I don't complete the verification so the pressure is on! any recommendations? Also i'm having some issues with going through the 7 steps of googles new analytics set up. Hmmm... I use my MCC and I don't get the client step? My agency comes up as the Advertiser... but I want the client's name to show, Or am I completely missing this verification process?

hello, how to verify an individual account? i verified my "identity" but they ask me to verify my business operations, in the form i have to enter my "organization" information, company address, partnerships and mush more, i cant skip this verification and i cant contact google support team, they cant help me in online chat and i tried the community and it's helpless

Same shit here. They said : "We were unable to validate the information you provided. Import your organization's documents to continue validation.
Please ensure that your organization's name corresponds exactly to the name on its registration document."
I think the verification is now slightly different, while Google is asking for Billing profile.

You obviously chose the easy way out, advertising for an individual; you should have provided a sample with a company so we could have an idea of what the heck are all the repeated questions for. But you probably knew that! And went ahead and created this video as a bait-and-switch approach. That's really bad, dude!
