In this song,a boy is singing that hes a lost boy.With no family..Meaning he was a homeless child.Then he probably died(possibly from starvation,sickness,dehydration,ect.)and then he saw a shadow flying above him.That was Peter Pan,a angel,sent to fetch the child.Later in the song it says they finally got to "Neverland"(in this case Neverland is heaven)and that he finally had a family.This is actually a sad ass song if you think about it
The real story is that Peter pan was an orphan to, he was beat and starved! There was this one girl who saved him, and had magical dust in her necklace to help in case of emergency. She also had a giant box of dust she had to give to the queen, but Peter took it to the queen and spilled 1/2 in the water. The he fell in the water and got the dust on his skin, making him magical! Then he used it to grab his siblings and runaway on the SHIP never land. Then the ship sunk, and he created never land. Capten hook, while all this was happening, was trying to get the dust and kill them. Then a crocodile jump abord the ship, captain hook through a clock and it swallowed it and bit captain hooks hand. EDIT: Real story I read the book and watched the movie, it's called "Peter and The Star catchers"
This song makes me cry, mainly because of all of the stuff that happened with people who I thought were my friends. They didn't like me all, pretended they did and talked about me behind my back. I have issues, and I was trying to work through them, but It wasn't good enough. I have to pretend like its at because we're l in the same marching band and I don't even know if what they did was wrong anymore. May Maybe I deserved it. Right now I would really love Peter pan to come and take me away. Neverlands better than reality.
