I like this deck. I have to admit that I'm not a proficient with pendulum decks, but willing to work on it. Definitely need practice. Hope you can do a combo video.
I absolutely love your Supreme King Zarc deck Arc V is one of my personal favourites of the Yugioh series and Supreme King Zarc is my absolute personal favourite of all the different boss monsters and so is Odd Eyes Arc Ray Dragon I actually own it in every single rarity in OCG.
Just to make sure you know, the pendulum evolution magicians (purple, black, white, double iris) cannot be used as a material for zarc when summoned off of the brand new trap card.
The trap specifically wants "pend, xyz, fusion, synch, _____Dragon" in the name.
While the pend Evo magicians treat themselves as a type
(Ygopro so far has backed this ruling up)
The Z-ARC Magicians are always treated as Pendulum/XYZ/Synchro/Fusion dragons in *name*, not type. That being said, they still don't work with the new trap, as it banishes materials specifically listed on Supreme King Z-ARC: 1 Pendulum, XYZ, Synchro, and Fusion Dragon-type monsters as material. Then the trap negates its effects unless you have monsters banished that aren't just any dragon monsters of the above types, but *specifically* ones that have Pendulum/XYZ/Synchro/Fusion Dragon in *name*. Basically meaning that you are heavily encouraged to use the original Dimension Dragons as material, or their evolutions.

You are half right, he can't use them with the trap not because of the name but because both z-arc need 4 dragon TYPE monsters
Yes, mages can be used for the trap and zarc would not have the effects negated , because the trap says that it needs 1 each of your "Pendulum Dragon", "Xyz Dragon", "Synchro Dragon", and "Fusion Dragon" monsters, It does not say type of monster but rather the name and since magicians are always treated as "Pendulum Dragon", "Xyz Dragon", "Synchro Dragon", and "Fusion Dragon" then yes they can be used and zarc would have its effects.
@@ShuujinAkito The Magicians cannot inherently be banished by the Trap to Fusion Summon Supreme King Z-ARC because his Fusion Materials are, specifically, 4 Dragon Monsters (1 Fusion, 1 Synchro, 1 Xyz, and 1 Pendulum). Meaning, you have to banish a Fusion Monster Card, a Synchro Monster Card, an Xyz Monster Card, and a Pendulum Monster Card, that are all Dragon-Type.
Tl; dr, the Trap was specifically designed to work with the Dimension Dragons.
I just realised that odd eyes arc ray dragon is just the opposite of supreme king z-arc; z-arc is scale 1, arc ray is 13 also arc ray is light z-arc is dark and finally z-arc has a evil theme and arc ray is majestic rather than evil/ edgy
Searching Supreme King gate Magician off of beyond the pendulum locks you out of monster effects until you pendulum summon, meaning you wouldn't get the special summon until you pend summoned it out. Instead, search SKGM off of Darkwurm and set gate magician, activate its effect to pop itself and scale supreme king gate zero to get gate magician into the extra deck. This allows you to a free search and just pend summon SKGM out for the additional effect to search. No, you wouldn't be able to summon out lightwurm off of this, unless you have some way to trigger an additional pendulum summon but if you were to search Pendulum Evolution and get any extra-deck pendulum (fusion/synchro/xyz) monster out, you can summon a second beyond the pend (non once per turn) to search your lightwurm that way and pendulum summon it, and whatever other cards you want, out a second time.
Great deck, could go for a more odd-eyes centric build
I use this deck without the new trap, but with gransolfachord coolia, I summon Zarc with Soul of the supreme king in one of the zone gransolfachord coolia point to and it would wipe the field thanks to the effect of gransolfachord coolia that says "The activated effects of Pendulum Monsters this card points to cannot be negated". I think this way consumes less resources and can still clear the opponent's field
I dont see a „XYZ-Dragon“ in the extradeck. Do i miss something? I thought you need one for the traps…

If you don't know this yet you need one of each "pendulum, fusion, synchro, and xyz dragon" dragon monsters in order to summon z-arc with the traps so currently the traps are unplayable
technically the traps do work (or at least Nexus lets them work)
@@pkmnlover3812ah yes what I meant to say the new trap will still shut off z-arc unless he has banished black fang because it needs "xyz dragon" monster banished so it's not really good to not have a "xyz dragon" monster and if he really wants to be able to use it properly

@@pkmnlover3812 most definitely, in all honesty this build isn't really optimized much I've seen a few and found a decent one but ultimately the new z-arc just isn't good enough to run for any reason

If Z-Arc, which was summoned by Soul of the Supreme King, gets destroyed by the new Supreme King-Trap-Card or any other effect, does the destruction effect of Z-Arc activate anyways?
2nd question: Can I book Z-Arc face down on summon and the summoning-effect activates anyways? (When it gets summoned by Soul of the Supreme King)
I think 1 z-arc does activate when destroyed
And 2 z-arc is negated since it negates the card not negate while its face up like skill drain
Yes you can book of moon Z-ARC and get board wipe out. Book of Moon resets the card by rule.
@@queenbrightwingthe3890 It only destroys when it is special summoned, if it is flipped it is not a special summon, but now it can use its other effects
3 lightwurm is a brick
It's interaction with gate magician makes it really good at 3. Ripping gate out of the ed on summon will allow you to gain full scales and link two with just lightwurm and gate magician. Not to mention it's other many lines of text
@@urnamexbut he's easily searchable, can return from extra to hand on his own and normal summoning him on turn 1 isn't great. I'd say playing it at 1 (max 2) is optimal
Doubled iris is out but Odd eyes brick dragon is in? Dude double iris can look for the trap that destroys magicians and the magic that search them 😢

@@ShuujinAkito This is partially true. If the magicians are banished, Z-Arc won't be negated so they work for that aspect.
HOWEVER you cannot use the pendulum magicians as fusion material for Z-Arc as he specifically needs 4 DRAGON monsters (one Fusion, one Synchro, one XYZ and one Pendulum). The magicians are not dragon monsters, they are still Spellcasters, they're just treated as "[summon type] dragon" by name and name alone.

@@devilgirl7054Trust me, I used pend magicians for a while and I tested this new support. I can tell you with absolute certainty that pend magician is on the lower end of the spectrum and the new Zarc support is good but definitely not overpowered
