- It’s the final part of our P&O Iona Cruise Vlog. In this video we review the Olive Grove restaurant and Limelight Club.
Romana tests her nerves on a Rib Boat trip in Haugesund (the final port of the cruise) and we give you the low down on disembarkation.
We loved every minute of this cruise to the Norwegian Fjords and if you’re going soon we hope you do too!

You are great videographers and storytellers. I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Very informative. Usually, luggage has to be out in the hall by 2am in the morning, so that may be why you were the only ones with cases out in the afternoon. I love your Scottish accents. Your enthusiasm is infectious, and the “goggle face” after the rib boat ride was endearing.

Like yourself I like to do my research that’s how I came to watch your vlogs . We have never done a cruise before either. Iv always avoided them due to the fact I do get motion sickness fairly bad also never liked the thought of that many people but I know my husband would very much love to do this exact cruise. Thank you for all the information and very well presented. Also thank you for pointing out the gluten free options as I have not long been diagnosed as celiac and am glad to know that this wouldn’t be an issue and that I could manage to find something to eat in any of the restaurants as I was told (by someone at work )that it would be best to just eat in the MDA so I now know that I do not have to do that as we do like to try different places. Thanks again.
Thank you for your kind message. I was the exact same. Motion sickness a real problem. The anti sea sickness patches were good. Did the job. Not even a hint of nausea. Highly recommend them. Loads of good gluten free options. I was definitely reluctant about a cruise that size, but it was really enjoyable and something new to experience. I would do it again. 😊👍

Your videos have been so brilliant. Shame about the weather. We did the same cruise last July on the Iona. We missed 2 ports due to the bad weather. The gluten free foods available are excellent too. X

Loved the vlog❤. Totally agree with you about Iona, the belief that a large ship will be chaotic is false. (if you want that try MSC!) I found it better going than a smaller P&O ship. I’ve got two more cruises coming up on Iona🚢 but Arvia is on the bucket list. Cant wait for your next cruise vid (cause you know you will😘)

We have never tried P&O before but have booked the Iona for next March and me and the Mrs have thoroughly enjoyed your reviews and think we are going to have a great cruise

I would say, all in all they were effective. Not a hint of sickness. The only downside was the blurred vision.
That was weird. It did subside after a few days though. All in all I would use them again.😊

Hi. There’s one gym. It’s open 24 hours and easy to get into. It’s included in the price but any classes are extra. It was pretty good and had a decent amount of equipment. Thanks for watching :)

You can book as many people you like even if you have a big party all in different rooms. As long as they are under one name. Maybe pick a person to do the booking each time.😊

We booked on the P&O website. No travel agent necessary.😊

This only works if you get into the port, if you book before and the ship can't get into port these companies do not refund as they can still do the tour and it's you that can't be there....
Yip good point 👍🏻 that’s why we didn’t book anything beforehand.
