71 year old and this and Bob relf and Judy Street brings back the casino at Wigan still got my pink membership card happy happy days and ive over 100 vinyls of northern soul in my loft wont let them go . Even though my wife says why. Nostslga my love ,it would be like tearing my heart out. .come on Bobby parish let's have a bit of night owl.

Sheer class. BTW, I'm 69 and still dancing. Need to nail my feet to the floor before I stop. The youngsters don't think we are 'taking the piss' out of who we were. It's a fact that they love and admire us folks for keeping the music alive and 'current'.
Some folks are just never happy, but I am, along with my peers.

first time i heard this i was about 16-17 . creepers basford nottingham nearly 40 years ago,,,,wow the crash of those drums, the swirling strings, and bob relfs soulful pleading. my brother gave me ten pounds then to help me get my copy [from soulbowl] on that fab orange label, what amazed me when i got it that pieces was the b side, the a side sounded like a jimmy ruffin record, girl, your my kind of wonderful,check it out great memories

I'm a young'n on the scene and I have to say if none of the elders were out on the floor it would be empty!!! Not enough of us 20summits at these venues !!!! So in mho keep dancing whatever your age!! And anywho Iv learnt some great footwork from 40 odd old blokes!!! KTF
