I love these models, only feedback I'd have regarding painting is: Brigandine could have metal highlights on the studded areas to break up the red and the spear looked quite dark, I did mine in a dark brown.

On a non-speed-paint (I guess that would be a normal paint then) those things would definitely be on the cards. It is a question though, as to how much you would see the brig nails at this scale, especially if they were dull Iron colour.

The only thing I don't care for in the figures themselves is that the Perry WotR "bows and bills" and the Perry "European 15th century mercenaries" armed with pikes, crossbows and handguns use the same bodies/poses in each box, meaning you're painting the same "brigantine" guy, or "padded jack" guy, over and over.

I didn't know that. I only have one set, so hadn't seen.

What's about the brigandine rivets? They're made of metal, not of wool.

Khorne red is the dark one, Mephiston is brighter. They're both base paints, though.

Would be nice to clearly hear your commentary rather than the music, the music is way too loud.
