NMBDR on an old KLR 650. Day 3.

I bought my old KLR in February 2023 and with only a single day of off-rode experience, I decided to go and ride as much of the NMBDR as I could handle! I had not planned on recording my ride but at the last minute an old friend loaned me his Insta360 cam and said have fun. I apologize for the super dark windscreen blocking the view and for all the wind noise but I didnt have an external mic.
Day 3 would be my longest and final day. Totaling 350 miles, I would spend just under 10 hours in the saddle. With Chloride Canyon closed for the season I had no choice but to take the easy alt. Glad I did as it was one of the most enjoyable stretches of the day! I snaked my way all the way to Arizona before heading back east into Reserve. After a break and a chat with a kind local I made it all the way to Fence Lake before the rain came down hard. Not wanting to get stuck out on the Zuni Rez I tucked my tail and took the pavement an hour in the wet stuff all the way to Grants.
I covered about 800 miles of amazing beautiful back country but with more bad weather on the way and my lovely wife waiting for me in Santa Fe I decided to call it. Adventure has no rules so get out and ride your ride!

I use Rever. It has all the routes already so no need to import gps tracks.
