They definitely think that they are people!"
Each has their own personality if they will show it to you. and their emotions can be intense and their bonds very deep. When several live together in a pasture their social interactions can be complex, all just like us!💕

He is a little herd bound. Horses sometimes do that (vocalize, which horse people call “calling“) when they’re separated from their buddies, some more than others.
In his daily life he’s probably not apart from them very often. But he noticed them moving around in the distance. Horses have great long-distance eyesight, and he was letting them know that he was there.

Hi Stevi, if I may I would like to exchange myself with you on the topic hooves! In your comment which suggests that Gallagher has hooves that are too long in the front as it is written.
First of all, if horses have something too long on their hooves then it is called the toe.
Secondly, it might be true, but honestly, what should Doc do with such a comment? He is a chiropractor, not a farrier.
Thirdly, I doubt that this video can be used to diagnose the condition of the hooves. You can only see the hooves more closely when Doc scrapes them and checks them. To make such a diagnosis, you would have to observe the horse in its entirety, how he stands, how he walks, as Gallagher is a large horse, he needs in the relativity large hooves.
I have to assume that you either have eagle eyes and/or are a professional farrier with more than 20 years of experience in the profession to observe and make such a serious diagnosis. No offense but I felt such a comment was out of place. I think the community is not there to criticize but to support Doc and share our experiences. What makes me sorry is that you wrote except this one such nice comments. That made me a little bit sad. Thank you
