I always buy two 1 for me &
1 for a friend and then if only if I can’t find a friend that doesn’t want / need one and then I’ll sell it if it has value
When I first came across this use of the term scalper many moons ago, it was levelled at someone who bought tickets for concerts, sporting events etc and then sold them at exorbitant prices. I think it's thrown about too easy now. If you know something is selling for a $100 online and you find it for $20 and you buy it to sell, it's not the same thing. The market is usually dictating the price not the one selling. As you mentioned, there are loads on RUclips who thrift the Goodwills etc and do the same thing. Maybe whoever called you it also sends Best Buy messages on twitter accusing them of scalping.
You can't handle the TRUTH 💰 Good Luck Scalper Old Guy 🙏🏿
You know it. I got two words for you
@@JEFFMAN316 I have one word for you, UNSUBSCRIBE 😅🤣😂

Ah, yes, how dare a collector buy something and make a little profit to keep their hobby going! 😉 I even been called a scalper for blind buying a movie for $1-$2 and then not liking it and selling it for a small profit.
Ignore idiots. You can do what you want. Nobody else's business
@@steely666 I agree but I like to chat with you guys about these things
I pointed out about that Catwoman Platinum Chase to you lol nice & easy flip
@@DFrost25 yes. Thanks for the heads up

I'm half Native American! It makes me mad too when I was called a Scalper😂
Good point. I hate the term
😅😂😅
Folks just wanna complain. Nice response
What I don’t understand is why would you sell something for 20 bucks if it’s selling like hot cakes for 35? Same thing with the PS5. For 2 years it was hard to get. Why Would you not flip it if you don’t want it anymore?
I am flipping tons of figures I bought years ago to fund my physical media purchases. I bought them to collect at first so they are mine. I will do as I please. That's true.
@@JEFFMAN316it’s not flipping if it’s worth more now. Frack the haters. Let them cry about it.
@@Ian-ge9uo amen and keep “scalping”away while drinking a cold one 😂
Who cares what they say, if you make a little extra money on a movie here and there. It's not like you're out there and doing it on a regular basis.
Good video! You do what you do! I don't believe you are a scalper!
Eject! You can’t make the case that you only collect because you love movies, and then complain that re-releases are ruining the value of your pick-up’s. Re-releases get these releases in more collections. The only argument against them is that they can’t be resold at a profit. Then you say you’re not a scalper and then give examples of how you’re a scalper. Nothing but love Jeffman, and I really don’t have a problem with people making money on discs, but own it.
@@kevinschmitt4050 the point is that I have been buying movies since VHS and rarely ever sell them for profit. I do not search for physical media and buy it for the purpose of reselling. I have one or two examples of when there was exceptions. But those are exceptions and not the rule. I still also think it defeats the purpose of having a “limited” release or store exclusive that is extremely hard to find and then just release the same thing over again later. I don’t collect for the profit but if I own something that is limited and exclusive, it should stay that way or I wasted the effort and usually paid more to get it. Release a variant or a different cover. The availability isn’t my problem. It is the exclusivity.
the audacity of people calling you that. its BS. whoever said that; hes full of it. i don't think youre that word jeff.
Thanks man!
Jeffman I love ya but you don't need 1 minute and 25 seconds worth of introductions before the video actually starts.
@@mattheh what should I trim out? I get compliments about the intros
Well said ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
