Had mine for over a week now and put about 200k in so far! Love the bike. Im 5" 10 and riding a large. It looks smaller than other large bikes I've ridden before but it feels great to ride out on the trails. The suspension feels plush and supportive and that Bosch motor is a work of art. Great bike from Orbea, although I agree I think an extra 10mm in reach on the large would not have harmed.
I've just taken delivery of an H20 to replace a Trek Powerfly 4FS. The difference is significant on the trails I ride, mostly blue and red single track downhill. It cruises over features in comparison. The Trek was more of a cross country bike and it was excellent in that regard but for the riding I do I'm loving the Orbea.
We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
Yes, I just had my Wild delivered and it does rattle a little under rocky decents.sounds like its the battery but its not constant just the bigger hits.Nothing to be concerned about.
How tall are you? I’m 5’11” and all my newer bikes have the longer reach will it be safe to get an XL and shorten the stem since the seat angle is steep pushing you up further to the bars? Or is the large perfect and your only sacrificing climbs because it’s short and the DH is better compared to the XL
Seems like a pointlessly expensive proposition to put carbon bars and cranks on a 22 kg ebike. How much difference could that make? I think the presence of the battery and motor allows you to choose strong less expensive parts and pay essentially no penalty. Very different from a regular bike where all the weight you have to manage with your own power.
Look. I have been riding mtnbikes for over 35 years now. I have seen lots of changes in them. But in short, we all want less weight, more gears, and best angles to get best results with same effort. When I was a child I was amazed to see 3 gears and then many more in time. At my age now, 60, I have seen my heart beat per minute at 184 and that is really risky for my health and for my life. Now with mi emt bike I can cycle longer, spend many more calories, get higher, more miles and, what is even more important, enjoy more the countryside. It is true that I cycle almost 100 per cent in eco, which makes me sweat a lot and do lots of exercise but I can control my highest heart beats under 165 or so. There may be bikers who prefer to overuse stronger help from their motors and do little exercise. That is annoying even for me, of course When I am ride with 45 year old bikers I never go first. But the important thing is that I now can go with them again in spite of their being much younger and stronger than me. I hope that you understand what I mean in spite of my English. I am Spanish and English is not my mother tongue. Thank you. From Almería un Soain
@@ollierichards6508 because honestly they hold zero appeal for me and they are not a bicycle. They are a motorized two-wheel vehicle. Same reason I don't subscribe to Bike Radar to see the latest on Ducati, BMW, Honda, etc. While I have no use for e-bikes I understand that others do so in order not to convolute things I'm asking that they consider a seperate RUclips channel for those that are interested. Thanks for asking for clarification.
@@briansmith7131 oh, I guess you are someone special then? Seen as you are expecting them to make a separate channel specially to fit your needs! What do you think about Orbea's latest E-MTB? Could this really exceed on all levels? Let us know in the comments!
Does he really see the shit on 1.06? This is amazing!

Not sure, how does it stack up against the Commencal Meta Power 29?

So cool to see Bike Radar on my home soil, going full send on La Rhune!
Thanks for watching, it certainly looks like a fun place to ride!
Had an absolute blast over there! Great trails...
If you are saying about the sizes and measures, it would be nice to mention how tall are you. Thank you.
exactly!
So far running smooth
I think I missed your body dimensions when you were talking about sizing. Nice, no BS review.
Sorry John, I might have failed to mention them - I'm 6 foot /182cm. Glad you liked the video!
@@TomMarvin1 So, if I'm 193cm you would not recommend the Wild FS XL?
@@TomMarvin1 So with my 197cm I'm out of luck?

Bald auch mein bike .the best e bike ever👍

After the ugly duck old Wild FS, Orbea really pulled it off with this one.
Outstanding!
How tall are you Tom @bikeradar wasn’t the xl to big for you?
I won't be able to afford one of these until 10 years have passed and I could buy one second hand 🤦🏻♂️ such an amazing bike 😍
Great review!
Great looking frame!

What about Yamaha motors? I think you all and other youtubers be hating on Yamaha. Be blessed
Other recent reviews have mentioned that the new Bosch has an internal rattle when decending. Did you notice this at all?
Can't say I did on the orbea, no! I'll keep an ear out for it on future bikes tho

That's one of the nicest looking ebikes in the market I think. Shame ebikes are still banned from the single track where I live..

Has nothing to do with weight ( to which your point is valid ), but ride quality, stiffness, and price point.
This is an ad?
There should be an electric bike where you can crank your pedals to add power to it if ever it runs out of juice
Clearly you have to ride the bike to make a proper judgment, but the short reach and long (ish) chainstay don’t seem very appealing..
Nice an expensive
Very true!
So colour customisation comes down to frame colour and bottom bracket housing and frame logo, a million options FERK ORF!

Its bike radar right not e bike radar please
It's a bike. It's not a radar though. They should change their name.
