Healing music - Bach - English suite 2: Prelude

Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) wrote his English suite #2 (BWV 807) in 1715 in Weimar. Although in those days the piece would have been performed on the harpsichord (as the piano as we now know it had not yet been invented), the composition lends itself very well for a piano performance, in this case by Igo Pogorelich in 1987.
As with several inspired compositions by the great composers, pieces such as this are thought to stimulate a positive correlation with the brain wave frequencies (a stabilizing effect around the alpha frequencies of 7 - 8Hz).
