- Many people have asked me how to move crypto between wallets. Specifically from one ledger device to another. So today I'm going to show you how to manage more than one device in your copy of Ledger Live so that you can effectively transfer from one device to the other. Of course, remember that Bitcoin is not inside your hardware device. Your hardware device is the private key that manages a Bitcoin wallet stored on the blockchain. We're just going to facilitate a transfer from one Bitcoin address to another. This method can also be generalized when you decide you want to move crypto from one wallet brand to a different wallet brand.

Could you not just use your ledger live on your phone and scan his QR code for his bitcoin address on his phone? Seems alot quicker
Yes, definitely that would be a much quicker way to do it. I’ve done quite a lot of videos on how to do crypto transfers. This particular video is focusing on people wrapping their minds around how to manage multiple devices.
