If you can topp that, I be amazed.
I dropped off material to a seamstress "friend" who volunteered to sew my bridesmaid's dresses. She put us off for 2 months for the fitting. 48hrs B4 showtime I reached her mom who informed me her daughter hadn't even started them. The material was still in the original bag I gave her. No dresses... That was 41 years ago and 1 of MANY things that went left that day. So yes, be encouraged...your wedding day will make a wonderful story at your 5Oth Anniversary! First of all congratulations. Second, I completely understand the pandemic wedding struggle. We ended up having a ceremony at the house with 2 guest and everyone else watching from RUclips (I have bittersweet memories from that) So now we are planning to have our original wedding plan to celebrate our anniversary. It's frustrating, but in the end, your marriage is more important than the ceremony.

OOOF! I changed dance studios my freshman year and my hairdresser's daughter happened to be with the same studio and dancing at the early show (one of my classes was in both shows), so my mom asked her to do my hair. The stylist used the sort of strong-hold gel that you'd use to set a mohawk. Which would be fine, if it wasn't for the fact that she pulled my hair really tight and I had to leave it that way for seven hours or so! I danced the three o'clock show, had some time with my mom (we were the opening act, so I probably had a solid three hours), went back and did the seven o'clock show, and then went out to second dinner/snack with my family (after staying the length of the show) as I'd done every year since the age of five. My scalp ached so bad that I tried to wash the gel out, couldn't do it without hurting myself, asked my mom to do it and ended up crying beside the bathtub because it hurt regardless. T_T
