A weekend of mourning for the Graham family --- as the Reverend Billy Graham's beloved wife was laid to rest Sunday---
Ruth Graham's burial took place at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Her final resting place is at the foot of a cross-shaped walkway in the library's Prayer Garden.
A public service was held Saturday.
Family, friends and thousands of mourners gathered to remember the wife of one of the world's most well known evangelists.
An unexpected moment came when the Reverend Graham rose to his feet and paid an emotional tribute to his wife.

All of the Graham's 5 children participated in the funeral---each paying tribute to their 'mama' as they called her.

Ruth Graham died at age 87 following a lengthy illness.

I think little resting in peace takes place when we discard this earthly body and take all we have humbly acquired for God’s Will to Heaven via our Souk. A great celebration is underway now as Billy joins Ruth in Heaven. Jobs Well Done by both Ruth and Billy assure them happiness and blessed Service in Heaven. Nobody rests in peace because they are to busy continuing Serve God and progress in His Glory!

I Had a dream that Miss Ruth and Billy were walking in Glory along a garden path, stopping from time to time smelling new and strange never before seen flowers. Being almost overwhelmed with perfect fragrances. As they slowly strolled along the path up a slight hill they walked effortlessly because they had been transformed back to their former ages of their 30's. As they topped the hill they looked upon a great theater down in a valley, filled with millions dressed in bright white robes and wearing crowns upon their heads. And as they drew closer they could see the speaker preaching to them all adoringly....It was King Jesus in perfect Glory with a host of Angels surrounding him in adoration. Then i gently woke up with a huge smile on my face...a smile that lasted ALL Day. Bless you Sister Alice...i'll see you on the other side of the River some day.

MsB Cheet I understand the sentiment but for the living who remain the death of loved ones and the loss of their physical presence still inflicts a painful sting!
Death has already been overcome. Jesus won it all. The only enemy is ourselves, because we don’t like to stay under God’s Almighty shadow (Psalm 91), instead we allow the devil into our lives to ruin us, thru sinful living, that is the problem. Billy Graham once said, “ one must come to the end of “self” before one can really begin to live. Paul also talks about dying to “one’s self”. May God help us all. Amen 🙏🏾
