I just beat it today, right when I was about to die to bonetail someone in the crowd threw me a life mushroom and saved my life, I was going absolutely crazy when that happened and managed to defeat him
Something similar happened to me! I was in a super tight spot and a Boo in the crowd made me invisible for a turn, super clutch!
Just 100%the game last night. In the past ive finished all of the troubles, most of the recipes and most of the badges. Never got past level 50 in the pit, but now i can say i am a gamer.
Yea... took me 56 hrs of gameplay to get the final skin lol

I actually beat it right after Chapter 2, it's very hard but it's possible if you have Quick Change, Mega Rush P, and every partner at Super Rank

Oh pls only bone tail theres two secret postgame bosses one in chapter 3 and the other one at the iland hit the whacka 7 or 8 times and collect what he drops until he stops to appear and then you should get a mail afterwards for post game disclaimer: do NOT UNDER ANY SURCUMSTANCES BATLLE these guys unprepared practice super guards like your life depens on it because it does both deal around 26 damage with one hit
Oh and don't buy or get anything from the chest for a easier time in the tower of 100 trails
The pit of 100 trials idk about everyon but for me it was like easy so easy that i got bored

or if your a loser like me, you prepare for the pit before starting the final chapter. I always do this because after defeating the pit and acquiring return postage, it can actually go to use in character 8. However keep in mind that with this you'll just demolish everything so sometimes to give myself a challenge ill unequip to fight shadow queen. (oh and if anyone's wondering, no, you can't damage SQ during her invincible phase... my disappointment when i found out was immeasurable...)

Once I have the game, I plan to do a full 100% gameplay, as well as having 9999 coins & 9999 pianta coins, leveling until I have 99 BP & 200 FP, for Danger Mario strat, without leveling further after that. Then I'm satisfied and enjoyed the game to the fullest (lvl 99 is kinda meh, since it kills the danger strat due to being forced to upgrade HP, assuming it's like in the original).
If you guys want the pit of 100 trials to REALLY be hard, do if before getting Flurrie, since gale force is free.
I already did being in danger and peril is very useful

My mom made it to Bonetail once a long time ago and died as soon as the fight began. Always wondered what the completion reward was.
the roughest part is the starting over, getting 1 star point per room feels super not worth it.

If you want a Real challange make the bonetail before hooktail challenge my record is 45 rooms but its Not the end for me
Im only on the third chapter and made it over 50 doors yesterday so it’ll be easy peasy once I level up a bit more
That merchant *DOES NOT* always appear on the 10th floor... and there are better ways to heal if you have more than 10hp. I used a couple Whacka Bumps, myself.
And it's not like the game isn't forgiving. You can start from the beginning of the room if you die.
I literally only had the postgame trouble center helps when I finished the game. lol I 100% everything else (besides getting to level 99. I was level 68) The P100T should of been post game imo.
I always have beat Bonetail after chapter 7 and before entering the thousand year door. I started entering the pit after chapter 1 and slowly went more floors dowm each and every time i went... End of Chapter 1 i only went in ten, but eventually worked my way to 30 for chapter 2, 40 for chapter 3, and got the strange sack on 50 before starting chaper 5. After chapter 5 i went down to 70, and i attempted to go to 90 after chapter 6 but sometuing came up and i onky went to 80 as i was gonna be late to a thing, before eventually completing the pit and bonetail after chapter 7. I think it is a matter of estimation of how far you know/think you can go, getting tons of experience from each time you go through, save for the later attempts where floors before level 50 dont give much star points anymore. Because unless you only went for BP and have all the insane stats (kudos to yall who do this... i coukd never do a bp only run), you have to come into the pit with a strategy and plenty of items, and DO NOT overstay your welcome and bluff to attempt the harder floors at a low level like I did lol 😂.... Though the reward is satisfying as Bonetail has a banger boss theme this time around and she proves a challenging fight to Mario and his team. Recommend doing her before you enter the door and beat the shadow queen as it makes gloomtail a living joke compared to his older sister
I did a 100 percent run in the original thousand year door. The remaster/remake I just completed today. At about 70 or 80 percent. Don’t plan to do 100%
It's less important to have healing items with you in the remake because you're given the option at every game over to return to your last scene, not just your last save. And you'll have everything in your inventory and whatever HP and FP you had at the start of the floor. They really nerfed the pit, which is fine by me.
I beat this before shadow queen. My run only had 1 mover. It was on floor 95. Moved me straight to bonetail. It was funny
I really wish they would have made a New game Plus I know it's basically impossible but they could have since the game was remade added to it or you know I really hope they make a sequel

I Beat bonetail before postgame and with little preparations, i assumed what the game meant by regeneration is once u kill it, it would enter a phase 2 our smth kinda like its predecessor but no it just falls over and dies
I got to 30 then went back, the merchant isn't there for me
Beat it right after chapter 3. It was a challenge but it felt good to win early in the game and it over leveled me for future fights

I did that on my second try i had no healing and was only 20 hp whzn i was at bonetail

I did this completely by accident after the 3rd star. 100 floors wasn’t too bad but it took me a solid 10 try’s just to get past bonetail. Didn’t even think about items either. Pretty proud.

Bold of you to assume none of us went there earlier (Prologue Pit is an actual challenge run where you use glitches [which include a glitch that requires beating the game on a different savefile] to enter the pit before fighting the giant blooper, in other words it's Goombella only)
