An enlarged prostate can cause symptoms such as urinary frequency, urgency, straining, inability to urinate, getting up often at night.
Prostate artery embolization or PAE is a minimally invasive procedure designed to treat patients on an outpatient basis. The procedure is typically done through a pinhole incision in your wrist while completely awake. You are able to go home an hr after the procedure. Symptom relief begins within 1 week.
