To compare two lists and extract common values, you can use a formula based on the FILTER and COUNTIF functions. This is one of the most simplest method of finding common values between two lists. 💡Logic behind the formula: In the above formula, we use the raw results from COUNTIF as the filter. This works because Excel evaluates any non-zero value as TRUE, and zero as FALSE. If COUNTIF returns a count greater than 1, the filter will still work properly.

You could make both ranges into named ranges and call it in ur formula

Filter function is used in excel. The FILTER function is only available in Excel for Microsoft 365 and Excel 2021. In Excel 2019, Excel 2016 and earlier versions, it is not supported.

how will get non common values
use filter and countif function in the same way , just equate countif=0 e.g =FILTER(A2:A12,COUNTIF(C2:C12,A2:A12)=0). Hope it will help
