  • Watercolour techniques using a rigger brush are demonstrated and explained. These watercolour techniques include using the rigger brush to produce very fine lines needed when painting small branches and twigs and also foreground grasses. Wendy shows examples of how she uses these brush strokes in her paintings.

    How do you decide when to use a very small round brush (size 0 or below) versus a rigger brush?

      @WendyPowellJones  Год назад +1

      A rigger will hold a lot of paint so you can paint for eg lots of twigs without re loading the brush and marks can be looser and more natural and spontaneous. I use a very small brush for when I need a lot of control but not a lot of paint…..say when painting a metal gate or small window. Hope that helps .

    What brush are you using for dry brushing, I've watched you do it in a couple of videos but can't see what it is.

      I use a regular round brush…probably size 6. They are a sable synthetic mix and detailed in the description box. Experiment to see what works for you…..all sable may hols too much water. 😀👍
