Thanks so much for watching! ✨ As promised, I’ve shared my extended list of london recommendations (including pubs, bars and clubs, along with more restaurants from budget to boujee!) here: open.substack.com/pub/lucymoon/p/my-london-guide-the-long-list Let me know if you’d like to see more videos like this! I loved filming this one 💌
Lucy… your content evolution is blowing me away. This could be a TV documentary series! Absolutely loved this, and as a Londoner, couldn’t agree more with this recommendations ❤
I'm headed to the UK in mid-April (Edinburgh for 6 nights, London for 7 nights) and I'm finding the trip planning for London SO overwhelming; the city is massive! Grateful for videos like these! Especially because I'm from British Columbia (Canada) and London really just feels like another planet lol
Lucy, this is a brilliant video idea and incredible execution. I loved how you took us along with you and the little recommendations from friends along the way. It’s really felt like I was visiting London with you! If you have any other cities you know well, DO THOSE (I’m begging)
Thank you so much!! I probably don’t have the expertise to do other cities but I could definitely do some more day guides to different areas of london? ♥️
I've lived in London for 12 years but really enjoyed this video! It is so fun to be a tourist for the day and really see the things I take for granted every day with fresh eyes! Thank you for helping me to appreciate how lucky I am 🥰
Thank you for the video! 🩶 Next month, I’m traveling to the UK for my birthday, starting with a week in London, and I’ve been watching 168 hours for ideas for places to visit.
as a Londoner, Dishoom for breakfast is such a great shout. I've also lived in east for 10 years and there were places that were new to me in your vlog, loved this.
Love this idea!! I love the creative variety of your concepts for content. And I think it's a talent that you're able to create videos on a whole range of subject matter but retain the distinct 'Lucy Moon' feel - cosy, happy, chill.
This was so good, Lucy! Museums, a dilly dally through bookshops and great food is my type of carrying on. I'd love to visit London one day and when I do I'll be sure to come back to this video.
What a perfect tourist guide! I've been debating going to London in late summer but I really wasn't sure because all the options were overwhelming me to the point that I dreaded planning out a trip. I much prefer videos like these that focus on certain things vs. trying to cram in everything London has to offer.
It really helps a lot! I also found another travel tips! For tourist and person who live here, the travel fee is really insane.I found an app that has discount on every journey within uk and I really like to share the discount code with u if u need it!! I hope this is helpful for other people traveled on budget~ Thank u again for everything u shared!!
i’ve been planning my trip for months and months and i’m finally leaving in two days!! it feels quite surreal, it’s been so long since i’ve travelled but i’m excited to start again and this video definitely helped me with my itinerary!
Ahh Lucy this was honestly so perfect! Just what I needed today - I'm in bed with bad cramps! And so wonderful to see all these London recommendations, I really haven't seen London properly and there's so much. This is what makes London, London.
Absolutely love this. Living in London for around 7 years now still looking for new wholesome recommendations. Please do more of these xx thank you actually did Columbia Road last weekend loved it!

We left London 7 1/2 years ago. You’ve shown exactly the same things we loved doing while living in the east end. I’m so glad to see some gloriously wonderful things never change ❤
Just found your channel and truly enjoyed it so much that I am now a subscriber. Planning my trip for later this year, and appreciated some of the items you mention that haven't been talked about in many vlogs. Thanks for sharing!
Loved this Lucy, I have had such a similar creative thought recently about wanting to make “cool girls guides” to destinations because lonely planet doesn’t always get the vibe. Hope your Dad’s doing well btw!
Loved this! Church Street in Stoke Newington is lovely for a wander and it's near Clissold park then going to the Jolly Butchers for a roast is one of my favourite ways to spend a Sunday!!
The Jolly Butcher is great- best pub in Stokey in my opinion. Great beer selection and very solid Indian food, but how is it for a roast though (meaning what’s it like since they typically do Indian food)?
milagros in that little courtyard in Columbia Rd is where I got my kitchen tiles - amazing Mexican imports, some of them pricey, but tiles are amazing value and quality.
Omg! I'm going to London on June (I'm from Chile!) and it'll be my fourth time there, so I think I've done all the really touristy activities, like visiting all the important landmarks and museums, so this guide is so helpful to enjoy the city with a fresh point of view. Thank you for this video!
Oh I wish this had come out sooner! I spent the holidays visiting my partner's family in the UK and we did a day trip to London and ended up being a little disappointed in our day... it's hard to know what to do in such a big city. Will say I loved the Transport Museum if you're a fan of urban planning and transportation, but it was rather full of children haha. I loved the feature room of historic posters promoting the Tube. Will definitely be referring back to this next time we're visiting!
ok i just was in london last week for my birthday! i admit that i was so overwhelmed by the possibilities while I was planning the trip that I ended up spending most of my time in museums, which is not at all bad I just wish I had more of a compass while navigating the streets! I found the city centre particularly overwhelming so it was nice to see you walking through it because it looks completely different lol. Also it didn’t help that I had knee pain for most of the days I was there so my walking capabilities were very restricted, but that just means I’ll have to come back!
I was really hoping you would mention where you got your eyewear- they’re stunning! Planning our first visit to London and my wifes absolute must is frame shopping. Any tips?
I love this so much and will definitely fill in all I can of this next time I’m in London!! Also, just cause you mentioned bars at the end, I’m also sober and would love if you have a list of any with a good mocktail menu! I am Not a beer person and I hate only being able to find a blue beer in most places I go 😂
Fair recommendations on cafes in East London, but I’d add Coffee Matters and Holy Shot in Shoreditch in addition to the Allpress that was mentioned. For Sunday Roast in East London, I’d recommend Marksman, The Duke of Richmond (one by Haggerston Park), and The Drapper’s Arms.

@@siranbydfi, What? When I am in London, it’s not like I’m a tourist; I’ve lived there on two separate occasions so I usually just visit my old neighborhoods and my friends.
Thanks a lot!!! I haven't been there since 2006 so it was nice to see your 2 days. Hopefully this year I will return and will check into a few places you showed us. Tate Modern for sure! ;)
I live near Brixton so I literally treat weekends as a chance to be a bit touristy. As my dad always said you're never going to run out of things to discover in London haha. If anyone lives around that area we should meet up
Great video. We are coming to London this month. But we are so confused as to where to say with a Airbnb. We have students going to Oxford University and want to be near them any suggestions where to stay near Oxford University. Help pleases
Okay but where do I stay in London!!! I’m visiting for 5 days in August and I’m not sure which part to book a Hostel in. I saw some good hostels near Hyde Park but would love some recommendations.
The production of Othello you saw was in the Sam Wanamaker Theatre at the Globe, which exclusively uses candle lighting in their productions! So cool. I travel to London at least once a year, primarily to see theatre. Loved this vlog, Lucy!
As a native Londoner… Pretty good, but I’d say very food heavy weekend 🤮 lol I’d return home feeling sick. My fav spots… Camden Town, Hampstead and Highgate. And theatre land!!! National theatre ❤soho theatre❤️ national portrait gallery❤️ yes to Covent Garden and soho pretty much everywhere 🤌🏻🤌🏻
