ONE FORTY Thursday will be six years for me. Six long, excruciating years. Level 13 has taken everything away from me. First, I was so addicted it made me lose productivity, ending years of me climbing up the business hierarchy. Next, I didn’t give any attention to my wife or family, which made them leave for a better, more handsome man. Then, I was all alone. For the past six years it’s just been me, my tablet, and my house. You don’t even want to know how much pain and suffering has all been caused, all from Level 13. I can’t even recall how many times my shot has almost made it, just barely missing the hoop. I miss my old life. I had so much going for me back then. Now, I hope to beat Level 13 once in for all. I lust for the day that the satisfying swish sound effect will play and I will finally pass this god forsaken level so I can get back to my normal way of living.
