If Eggman died from Metal Sonic's murder, then I had an idea that the 'Eggman' in Nintega Ball GT was Eggman Nega, and he wanted to build a Metal Silver to eliminate Sonic for revenge of killing Eggman because he 'thought' 'Sonic Killed Eggman', BUT

Continuting from my last comment, BUT actually Metal Sonic killed Eggman. Metal Silver actually should turn around and kill Eggman Nega, then go to the Death Egg Ruins where he and the ORIGINAL Copy of Metal Sonic will fuse together to form Fusion Metal Silver. (Super 17 Saga)
